The MOS drums are working well so far. They convey the strength of the character. Zim Zim used drums often in his Batman scores, too. Though there it's more defiant. For me, it plays. They're the two big DC characters, and as Cavill said "they are two different sides of the same coin and their methods are entirely different." Same thing with one rising note being dark, and the other rising note being hopeful. The antithesis.

Any guesses to which track the trailer 3 music belongs to? The actiony portion, not the piano music. The part in the Flight track starting at 1:27 sounded like it was building up to it, but then it stopped before it really got going.

^ With the Batman scores, the drums are more exotic sounding, like bangos and whatnot. It also sounds like they had some type of electronic plugins added to "enhance them."

Whereas with MOS the drums are more acoustic sounding, and more like a familiar drumkit. That in a way, kind of reflects the "power" of Superman as being something recognized and trustworthy, while Batman is more "otherworldly" and scary.

Are you a troll or something? It has been established for over a bloody year that the Comic-Con trailer's music is from Zimmer's score for The Thin Red Line, specifically the track Journey to the Line. It is not Time.

For what it's worth, though, the Inception track certainly sounds as if Zimmer recycled a bit.

Indeed, the strings are rather similar. It was more so the ridiculousness of someone who never posts on the Man of Steel board, coming in a year into the debate and declaring that everyone is wrong and that the music is in fact the famous piece of Zimmer's Inception score. Something that pretty much anyone in this thread would be incredibly familiar with.

TDKR's soundtrack was premiered by Empire Magazine 10 days before the film release if anyone wanted to know. Obviously have no idea if this will be the same. Soooo this post is kinda pointless...

I'm anticipating they'll do a full stream of the entire score about a week before the film comes out.
