I'm all for Kara. Bring in some pretty blonde actress for film 2.

I'd love to see Supergirl get a excellent on film...I hope they make mention of her in this movie and bring her in for Justice League or Man of Steel 2, speaking of...I honestly hope they don't do lame ass names for the sequels like they did for Batman Begins. Great movies, lack of imagination in movie titles

If I may ask, what would you have had instead of The Dark Knight (an alternate name for Batman that reflects how Batman works almost completely opposite of how Harvey Dent, the white knight, works and ties into how Nolan presents Batman in the film as a modern day knight) and The Dark Knight Rises (referring to Bruce rising out of the pit, symbolizing the well in which he was frozen in time within in Nolan's adaptation, and Batman, The Dark Knight, rising above being just a vigilante and becoming an everlasting symbol that will endure for generations)?

I hope the sequel titles are "The Man of Tomorrow" and "The Last Son of Krypton" or something along those lines. Using alternate titles of the heroes is way better than some of the other options like "Man of Steel 2" or "Man of Steel: (Insert subtitle)".

The next one should be called Man of Tomorrow. After that I don't know.

I like the title The Dark Knight, just not The Dark Knight Rises. I would love to see the sequel for Man of Steel be The Man of Tomorrow and then possibly The Last Son of Krypton...but I feel that would be basically confirming something w knew in Man of Steel. Maybe just the simple title of Superman

I didn't think about that. Would be interesting if some of the Kryptonite Superman may encounter would be considered gifts if the planet never exploded.

They released a prequel comic I think for those who bought tickets at Wal-Mart. But, it of course has been leaked all over the Internet.

Ahh, I knew they released the Walmart comic to early adopters (which sucks as I'm in UK), but didn't think to look for it online... not that I'm going to do that now... honest...

No one else completely dubbed over her voice. Soderbergh altered her own voice, deepened it.

I saw Carano in Fast and Furious 6. They used her natural speaking voice. Her acting was fine, though she has only so far played very serious no-nonsense type characters. She hasn't had much opportunity to show much range or emotion. Obviously her fight scenes were great.

Wonder Woman was not confirmed yet for Man Of Steel nor is she in any of the tie-in comic (YET), until such time please do not post stuff regarding her in here.....since it has nothing to do with this topic...

It seems more for set up for the MOS trilogy, where they can up the ante and have a whole bunch of Kryptonians at war for the third movie or something. Like New Krypton in the comics.

Superman would need to create a civil war on new krypton to win that fight. But the way I see the tie in would be Kara creates like this blank slate clones like in the movie Prometheus and release them. Maybe those clones Become the Mythical Gods of Earth (too big of a stretch but what the heck) and they create the Atlantian Civilization and The Amazons.

Now here are some interesting questions. Since it has been said that Kal-El is a special Kryptonian since he was born by natural conception and the other kryptonians are genetically engineered. Do u guys think the Genetically Engineered Kryptonians have limitation? Or maybe powers that they can't develop and Kal-El can? That would explain why 1 Kryptonian (Kal-El) can beat all the rest of Zod's Gang.

They would certainly have limitations in how they think- whether scientist, warrior or worker class- and Kal-El wouldn't have that problem. Zod would be very single-minded, in the warrior class, and that may have its advantages/disadvantages.

A problem I would find in Kryptonians creating the Atlantean and Amazon races, would be the loss of ancient ties, such as the Amazon ties to Ancient Greece. Unless the theory that Kara crashed thousands of years ago is true...
