ok, I'm back from STID.

1st things 1st, I got to see trailer 3 again. so that marks the 3rd time in a row!!

As an added bonus, the MOS National Guard ad played before the previews!! Superman walking out of the rubble.......on the big screen......LIKE A BOSS!!

The negative..........my theater is still using that blasted handcuff poster!!

2nd. I'm going to say this. Benedict Cumberbatch NEEDS to play/voice Brainiac!! Good Lord!!! That man's voice is so positively, deliciously evil that he'd make a honeydew sound menacing.

As for Star Trek, being a non Trek fan, I enjoyed it. And I daresay I enjoyed it a bit more than IM 3. but that's mainly because the character interactions felt more meaningful and there wasn't some stupid twist that pissed me off.

I'd probably rank it a 7/10 or 7.5/10.

Exactly. It's completely insane. If he's frowning, it's too dark. If he's smiling, it's too cheesy.

I mean, who the hell would NOT enjoy flying at incredible speeds through the air? It's a crazy though that anyone would do that with a serious emo frown on their face
I expect it out of young, and even teenage Clark. Not sure how many yippees I expect from the big guy in the suit.

In fairness, no one suggested 'yippee'... even I wouldn't go that far

Why do you think every fan-editor has been using his Trek monologues in EVERY single Justice League trailer? lol.

I think it is unfair to not read the actually criticisms. It is really easy just to group everyone together and ignore their actual words.

I read the actualy words. The words asked if Superman saying 'woohoo' while enjoying flying through the air was cheesy. That is directly what I think would be a ridiculous criticism.

It is simply a question of characterization.

What are the odds that Supes grinning while flying is near the end of the movie, after everything's said and done?

That new shot looks straight out of the "first flight" montage.
