If I get the lego stuff, I'll make sure to get 2 Supermen and just paint the second one to look like Jor-El, it will end up being cheaper lol

Sideshow statue looks good but I am waiting on the Hot Toys 1/6 scale MoS stuff instead. Tempted to still get the statue but I don't want to have multiple versions of the characters on display heh

welcome! I was just about to post how I'm in the UK and can't find any MoS related stuff anywhere. I'd love to spend some money on stuff like you guys keep posting from Walmart but no sign of anything anywhere. I've got a great comic shop nearby and all they have is the comic con poster for sale.

Well after all this time I FINALLY managed to snag myself a Movie Master Superman.

I have to say the figure in hand and up close is so much better than seeing photos online. It's a really well done figure and even more so for a $15 mass produced figure.

Now...maybe I can grab an armored General Zod by August....

Yeh I'm in the UK up north, the forbidden planet website has some of the stuff that the US but it's not released here for another couple of months.

They have the movie masters action figures up for pre order but aren't released until 11th August.

For the first time in my collecting years, I did not purchase any of the MOS toys. The 30" figure's head is too small for the body and looks nothing like Henry Cavill. The same with the Movie Masters' face, it's distorted and looks like a constipated Henry, or looks more like Ben Stiller in Zoolander, I mean, what's with the thick pouting lips? The other figures looks more like animated versions than Henry versions. I am very disappointed that there came a time when I would not have any toys for a particular DC or Marvel movie.

But maybe Sideshow or Hot Toys might deliver, so I'm waiting for their releases. As for Mattel, remove me from your customer list...

Went on out hoping to come home with MM Wave 2 Armored Zod and Faora (with no luck YET) but came home with the gigantic Wal-Mart Man of Steel cape (seriously worth it guys. The patch is solid and thick and the material itself is worth the retail price of $20. Great for a collectible piece) a Man of Steel Whacky Wobbler Bobble-Head at FYE (They also had Zod, but I'll get it at a later date since I'll be getting the armored Zod MM fig) and a Retro-Action DC Superheros Lex Luthor figure at my Toys-R-US on clearance.

Like I said guys, I didn't plan on buying Wal-Mart's cape, but once I walked by it, I just couldn't pass it up and was worth it as a definite collectible. It's HUMUNGO with a very nice patch to boot.

Well guys I drove to Wal-Mart and got lucky, they only had two Zods left and the rest was just Superman. I guess people were wasting no time picking up these Movie Masters figures.

I also saw the cape priced at $9.99. I was tempted to where it around the store but if I did that I would of most likely ended up on that people of wal-mart web site, haha.

I took some out of package shots with better lighting. These figures definitely look a lot better in person.

Just so I can look out for these, who else is showing up in the case assortment? Did you see Faora, or Superman with that chain thing? Zod in shackles?

Went to TRU again today in Hamilton to see if they Armored Zod/Faora. No dice there, but the first three MM's were marked down in price from $22 to $17. Is that an indication that they aren't selling well?

I was very fortunate on Saturday night. I walked into my local Walmart after work and found three sets of the new Movie Masters. Armored Zod (loads of them ) and three Faora's!!! I picked up two of each and left one Faora there. This was the only store in my area that had them. I checked three other Walmart stores and ToysRUs and Target and there was nothing to be found.
