I have to say it and I might get ripped for it but this is the Hans Zimmer that I grew up knowing! The heavy drums, guitars, and choirs! Pure epic in every sense of the word! TBH I haven't been completely blown away by his work in a long, long time. So fitting that it's Superman that he let's it all out!

I just think it is funny when people do say something credible and they get ripped for it only for that one thing they've been trying to tell people ends up happening, lol...

I got ripped on MatrixFans.net back in 2003 because I spoiled practically the entire 3rd film (Matrix Revolutions) and the ending 2 weeks in advance and people were freaking out saying I was full of it, lying (I had already seen an unfinished version of the film through someone I won't name, lol) then after posters realized it was true, I was like k... done being a fan now/coming to this site.

Man, I used to lurk on those forums often back in the day. There were some really intelligent debates and discussion going on there back then, despite all the mixed reaction to the sequels. Can't believe that was all 10 years ago.

Out of context, I'd have a hard time believing this was a soundtrack from 2012-13. Sounds fit for a dystopian sci-fi movie from a couple of decades ago. That works to its benefit somehow.

Oddly enough, some parts do remind me of Trevor Rabin's work on "Armageddon". Not comparing the scores, just saying the style of some tracks remind me of it for some weird reason.

"DNA" reminds me the most of Close Encounters Of The Third Kind score by John Williams.

i know it's not any fun. i dont like it anymore than you guys

but like i said earlier, i dont want to see you guys get into trouble... playing by the rules makes everything go smoother, cleaner, and there's less trouble that way... plus, SHH wont get into trouble from other companies. it's also for their own safety and protection

I'm sure the poster has every intention of not re-visiting this site.
i do look at it from your point of view... im not a mod.
i also know that people get into trouble when they post stuff like this on here. i posted the Ruby Spears Superman cartoon in a thread in a Superman sub-forum a long time ago before it was ever released onto dvd, and i got an infraction for that... i'd rather not see people break the rules and get into trouble.

the rules are there for a reason, and there are consequences for breaking them.
i hope the poster doesn't take it too personally...

believe me, db85usa, i know how you feel because i feel the same way, but rules are the rules. just because they can be found on youtube and such doesnt make it legal to post a link to download the entire soundtrack for free onto this forum

Hey, I did not post the link. I know the rules. Thank you for reminding me, sir. For all I know, that post with the download link could be WB trying to sucker people in. I have listened via YouTube and have not posted any such links in this thread. I think we should let the mods handle this. That is what they're for. So I will not comment any further in regards to your complaint.

Hi everyone!

Since most of this thread was just deleted, let's review some rules.

Do not post links to the leaked soundtrack here.

It's against forum rules, and it's illegal. So don't do it.

This also means no asking for links to the soundtrack. Even if you want it sent via PM.

It's not allowed.

Anyone posting those links here will not be posting here again, as our new friend eldrad32 just found out.

We know everyone's excited for the new movie, but the rules still apply.

So don't lose your minds and do dumb things like posting links to pirated material.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Man of Steel is the sketchbook piece

maybe it's just me but does the sketchbook have a nod to The Living Daylights in addition to the Once Upon a Time in the West nod?

I probably am the only one who thinks this, but the ending of "Terraforming" kind of sounds like "The Planet Krypton".
