Cavill was great. One scene that stuck out to me was how he made his voice higher and more teenager like when he was arguing with his dad right before the tornado. The scene after that though was one I felt pretty opposite of appreciative though.

Yup, I liked that touch. I wanted to smack him for being a teenage brat.

One detail that I liked is that when Clark hears about the oil rig in trouble, and before the captain asks, "Greenhorn?" you can hear him quickly pattering off offscreen. You don't hear a splash, but the pattering made me

Every single flash back had some great subtle stuff in it. Makes me wonder what kinda film we would have got had it be linear.

Also Cavill did some great subtle work in his various odd jobs. The bar being the most awesome, but the crab fishing was good too.

Hearing Lois call Clark.."Clark" when he was in costume, I can't remember the last time that's ever happened on film before.

Haha when I read about that scene I thought I would want to smack him but when I actually watched it, I thought he pulled it off rather well. At least I didn't think he sounded too bratty, just upset.

I did love that. Honestly, I just love how they changed up their relationship and how she already knew who he was.

Agreed; it was kind of funny though, I remember hearing so many women whispering "Just Kiss him Already" when he were descending on the cornfields after Superman rescued her from the space pod.

So when they do kiss later on, everyone was actually surprised in my theater.

Also, I thought Snyder captured the moment of them holding hands very well, and the music definitely helped the mood.

I definitely feel like this film has really fleshed out the character in ways that previous portrayals have not.

Oh and I love on how this is the first time where we see a version of Jor-el actually treat Lois nicely as opposed to Brando's Jor-el with Margot's Lois.

-Loved that they made Supes a terrible fighter (initially at least). Snyder and Goyer painstaking drove home the point that Clark has never been in a fight in his life. His first fight EVER is against Faora and Nam-Ek and he gets his ass beat, which was realistic.

-That the Kryptonians don't know how to fly and can only jump (like Clark initially could). Zod didn't learn to fly until the very end.

-Faora gets temporarily knocked out by a missile, shows that our weapons aren't completely useless.

-The line at the end "Welcome to the planet." Truly perfect line. Could end up being considered a legendary line one day

-Love that Superman RODE A BIKE to work at the end. OF COURSE Clark would do that, fits the character perfectly.

-The shift from scene of Clark's ship landing in Kansas to immediately seeing him in the modern day on the fishing trawler was handled perfectly

-Learning how to fly

-Faora's fighting style being speed. This shows us how awesome a Flash movie could look.

-"A good death is its' own reward" line. So ominous and creepy coming from her. Antje stole the show

Faora wasn't knocked out by the missile. What was getting to her was her helmet malfunctioning after Clark slammed her into the ground. What was happening to her was the same that was happening to Zod when his helmet was messed up.

Yea Faora helmet got ripped and her senses were over loaded and she became dizzy and nauseous.

The instances of true brilliance in Snyder's directing. Like the way that when the Kryptonians move quickly, the camera can't quite keep up for just a split second. It just adds such a sense of how extraordinary they are and that this is actually happening. The moments when you just knew what was going to happen next and then someone would just fly-tackle one of the characters and you heard the audience gasp collectively.

I liked the surreality of Superman fighting in an IHOP.

I'd recommend them. They are kind of addictive. I'd where I live their eggs aren't half bad either.

SPIDEY you don't understand. I need you to like IHOP. I need the validation.

I know my plan of attack. I will just have to get Henry to eat in an IHOP near you.

I've never liked chain restaurant pancakes. The best pancakes I've had were blueberry pancakes from a local restaurant in the East Bay Area. Mmm, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it...

My sister still brags that when she was accepted into an Ivy League uni, all she asked for from our parents was an IHOP strawberry waffle. Instead of like, a car like some of her classmates were getting.

Next time SPIDEY sees MoS, she is going to knock some points off for Henry not being knocked unconscious in IHOP, with syrup spilling on him.

This all just got strange.

The best pancakes I have had were the ones my Grandmother use to make. But maybe you should tell me the name of the East Bay Area restaurant. Next time in the area, I might try it.

We didn't get syrup, but we got whatever that trucker guy threw on him.

This is what happens when folks are online late at night.

It's called Chow's. Usually we go to the one in Lafayette, but there's one in Danville too. They're both east of Oakland.

Okay back to MOS...um...I had to at Supes noting that the military wouldn't be needing those tranquilizing agents.
