I'm not saying those things weren't stupid. They were stupid, and I don't like that film. That said, I have to say there were more things I enjoyed in that movie than this one. The final act of Man of Steel is some of the most joyless action scenes I've seen in awhile. Superman ends the movie by snapping Zod's neck and crying. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Batman Begins was more optimistic than this film.

I really think if you pay attention to the metallic-like Kryptonian technology throughout the film it makes perfect sense that Brainiac could form out of this. He could even change shapes to some degree to take his ability further (if done correctly and not in a way that could be unintentionally funny)

He was already up there and picks up an odd job near the site.

There are two different ships. Clark's pod is what they use to explode the Black Zero. The scout ship is the one Zod retrieves and Clark crashes.

Could barely tell there was a W it went by so fast, lol.

So they didn't explain it? Just happened to be there kind of thing like Lois snapping his pic? Ehh...

When did Zod grab the scout ship?

I think I need to see this movie again.

Same. I doubt either of us would be complaining. Then again, what other choice would we have? LOL

I can understand that was jarring for some traditionalists. However in terms of a modern Superman film and the decision he was making.. which was in essence to preserve human kind... It made sense. They also showed him have a heart wrenching reaction to what he did against Zod. It wasn't an easy decision but the right one, and one on behalf of mankind for the human race.

Oh, and I'd like to apologize to Bryan Singer in criticizing the Christ imagery, because Snyder is somehow even more hamfisted about it.

I did hear an audience member yell out "SEARS" which made me wonder if the real world outlets being featured was a good idea or not I thought it was kind of cool to see places that we actually have in real life instead of just made up names.

Plus, he really didn't have any other alternative. It was a moment of weakness. Kill or let a family be killed and then be killed yourself(if that makes any sense).

I'm not questioning Superman's decision, I'm questioning why it was even written to go down that way. It ends on a tremendously dour and sad note. Oh, and its really funny how now he is concerned about that family after spending most of that act not giving two craps about collateral damage.

In reference to the "cross scene" How else would you float with that change in gravity though?

Only a few fans here seem to have seen MOS but i'd say most of them seem to have liked but the one's who didn't seem to have really disliked it.

When everybody finally gets a chance to see it does anybody foresee a bit of fan divide here between those that love it and those that hate it? Is this movie going to divide a lot of people?

I'm talking about the church scene.

I'm guessing Braniac with Lex as a side character. The other option could be Metalllo and Lex. I can't wait for a sequel. Snyder says he wants at least one more solo adventure before leading into Justice League possibilities.

My feeling was, his overall objective was to preserve the human race which would have gone into immediate extinction if Zod won. Also as a Superman fan, I had it in my own head that he is able to see things ahead of time to know if his path of destruction such as going through buildings with Zod... would cause danger. To me, if he was willing to go through those buildings his sense such as xray and sound let him know that he had that pathway to do so.

The Wayne Enterprise symbol is there. It goes by fast, but they show it twice.

I amuse Clark got a job up there, heard what they were doing and realized he should probably check it out.

Zod grabs the scout ship when he mentions he needs the genesis chamber. It is when he talks to Jor-El. He tries to use it to blow Lois and the others out of the sky, and Superman crashes in and destroys the commander chair.

Which is the right way to go. I really don't want them rushing to a JL film.

We're going to see a TDKR and IM3 divide, no doubt in my mind.
