I agree, he would be better suited to playing a character who is inherently unlikeable, like Hal Jordan.

Here are some of my current thoughts. There are a few names from TV etc, partly because bigger names are likely to be on the wane over the coming years:

Bruce Wayne/Batman – Ryan Gosling
Tim Drake/Robin – Asa Butterfield
Alfred Pennyworth – Timothy Dalton
Commissioner James Gordon – Jeffrey Wright
Leslie Tompkins – Jamie Lee Curtis
Silver St Cloud – Amber Heard
Harvey Bullock – Michael Madsen
Selina Kyle/Catwoman – Zoe Saldana
Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin – Toby Jones
Edward Nigma/The Riddler – Andrew Scott
Harvey Dent/Two Face – Jonathan Rhys Meyers
The Joker – Matt Smith
Jervis Tetch/The Mad Hatter – Andy Serkis
Poison Ivy – Gemma Arterton
Mr Freeze – Mads Mikkelsen

Zoe for Catwoman? I like it. Then again....Amber Heard as Catwoman perhaps?

Gemma can't be Poison Ivy, she's WW

I think Catwoman is dreadfully difficult to cast, because she needs to have a great deal of physicality, elegance, warmth and steel. She needs to be both feminine and tough, classy and streetwise. There aren't many actresses who I would trust with all of that, but I think Zoe is very promising.

Maggie Q for Catwoman....YES! But Keith David should not be allowed anywhere near a Batman movie....any movie for that matter.

On the contrary, Keith David should be in every movie.

LMAO at that picture of Sam Neill. He would make a good Alfred though.

Interesting choice for Freeze I would love to see this cast come together. Who would you cast as Vicki Vale?

She should play an original villain called The Clothes Stealer. After a terrible accident burned off all her clothes, she devoted her life to stealing the clothes of Gotham's female population. I see a no clothes gang following her. They would be played by Christina Hendricks, Alison Brie and Kate Upton.

So she basically has the costume of every female comic book character ever created?

BTW Christoph Waltz is a good choice for Freeze. He's been in way too many stock villain roles in crappy movies lately, an actor of his caliber deserves meatier roles.

YES! This is the best idea for a new Batman movie that I've ever heard.

I this idea

An 18/R (depending on region) rated Batman movie.

If Darren Aronofsky is directing, it could happen. He's not shy of some fanservice (Black Swan anyone?)

I don't see it. I see him as Hugo Strange. There's something about his way of speaking of personality that doesn't mesh with Freeze at all.

Mads Mikkelsen is more suited for Freeze...he seems so depressed and detached in things I've seen lol
