After the 2 new TV spots and featurette, I'm finally starting to get excited for this film. It's fresh to see a more character-driven film in the genre. I hope I'm not disappointed.

We may think so in this age of fast food, junk, sedentary lifestyle with little physical struggle, but the human body was meant to be fit. Tell native american hunters that having a strong, fast body was unrealistic. Their lives depended on it. I'd say even in today's world, soldiers and other military personnel depend on having a very fit, strong body. And the aesthetics are just a sweet bonus to having such functional, muscular physiques.

Just wanted to put it out there. I find it rather annoying that people say things like how great bodies are totally unrealistic haha. Sure, being totally jacked, vasucular, and having abs that pop out all the time is unrealistic, but with dedication, discipline, and effort to rigorously workout 3-4 times a week and eat the right foods, anyone can look good without a shirt, or at least fill out their shirt better I haven't even begun to mention the vast health/medical/lifestyle benefits of having a healthy, strong body.

My theater has that poster. It looks like a scene from Aliens in the background, but I'm guessing its actually the Silver Samurai. It's got kind of a cool 3D-effect going on.

Yeah. It's pretty cool. Don't know if it's a Japan-only thing though.

Anyone ever been there? There's more story detail than on the English site but nothing particularly revealing if the Google Translation didn't mostly steer me wrong.

Saw the trailer again with my 3rd trip to see Man of Steel and I just can't get over how good it looks. Got a good feeling about this one.

Think About Ink! - Between the Pages - July 7 - The Wolverine - Comics to Movies

Rila Fukushima is Yukio in The Wolverine 2013! 20th Century Fox and Hugh Jackman hope the second time is the charm as they try to get Wolverine back on track, focusing on his legendary history in Japan! Host Grace Randolph, from Beyond The Trailer, and guest Alan Kistler talk about the history of Yukio and what she means to Wolverine...and Storm?! Is Rila Fukushima a good casting choice for Yukio? And how much does The Wolverine follow the original story of Wolverine in Japan based on the comic by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller? Enjoy The Wolverine in 2013! Think About The Ink is presented by Bleeding Cool.
