Is it a good sign, bad sign, or neither that the movies that came out the sametime or after are on sale already, and we have to wait till Nov?

I'd say a good sign. They are anticipating a big retail splurge from the mass's and may have took the necessary amount of time to aware people of the public of its release and spend more time to clean it up for all formats.

shocked a blu-ray rip hasn't leaked on line yet. I expect good things sell wise. It's pre-order rank on AMAZON has been consistently nice.

Wow just went online to preorder my steelbook for early November and was left shocked to see we have to wait just under a month in the UK for it... 2nd December what the hell???? In an age where you can download a rip in just as good quality is it wise to be doing that?

I saw this too but was hoping it was some mix up and they hadn't been given the new release date. But yeah Amazon is right now saying December 2nd. Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions here, but what the ****

Yeah, I look at least twice a day to see if it has popped up online. I think I saw where New Zealand, I think, gets the Blu Ray on October 30th. So it has to be any day now. As soon as it hits, you better believe that I'm going to be all over it. #CantWait

Deleted/extra scenes, if they are there. Those are always my favorite. I haven't been following the dvd talk - do we know if there will be deleted scenes or extended cuts forthcoming?

*AHEM* I've watched this movie once at the theater and at least 10 times since, and I LOVE this movie!

My sons said when they saw this they loved it more than The Avengers. At the time I said....I don't know about that. It was awesome but a different kind of movie.

I think my sons could be right. I get super pumped more with each viewing. The soundtrack is played repeatedly. I can't wait to see the Blu ray. Probably will have to get it at Red Box...but I will buy it later...guaranteed!

Wow. Big fan right here. I liked it a lot too. Haven't seen it 10 times though haha. Three.

I don't believe there are any deleted or extended scenes. My guess is they're holding on to those for a potential extended edition, which would probably be released to coincide with the next film.

A HD version of the movie is now online (you know where), although I'm not a fan of the movie I can't deny that the Blu-ray picture quality is stunning and definitely reference worthy.

They only have a few deleted scenes. For example, there's one in which the Kents take baby Kal to the doctor. I've also read that there was a great sequence that they didn't film in which Faora goes to Asia (don't remember which country) and destroys part of the city after Zod's warning.

I pre-ordered from Target and then realized that I can simply just by it in person on release day since it doesn't come with an early digital download code. I may cancel since there is no sense in paying an extra couple of bucks for shipping and having to wait longer...

Yeah, not much sense when you can just as easily hit the store(s) to pick it up and get it day of, no shipping costs. I'm going to just hit up Wal-Mart & Target day of.

^Same here. When I purchase MOS, I will hold it above my head with one arm; looking straight ahead until I get to my vehicle and then hold it up out the drivers side window for ALL to see until I get home and undress it with my eyeballs over and over again.

My question remains, though. What special features are y'all anticipating the most?

How good is the *ahem* HD version that's out? 720, 1080?

It's 720p. It will definitely suffice until the Blu Ray officially comes out. Even though it's HD, it's still compressed.

Yes, indeed.
