With Liam Hemsworth it's just that I feel he's an average actor at best. I just don't think he's very good.

Michael B Jordan is taken now.

Has he really had big enough parts in movies yet for that to be said .... Has anybody seen empire state... love and honor.... He has 3 lead roles in movies coming up in 13/14 plus hunger games. I mean jen law is pegged as the type of actress that could be in JL and all shes ever done is silver linings really. And hunger games where she plays the battle trained version of Bella. I think he is the kind of actor that could pull this off. hes only 23 but has that grown look that keeps us looking at actors that are too old for a franchise. Like hammer.

If he's in small parts and can't pull his weight then he sure as hell can't headline a franchise of his own. Maybe he would be OK as Flash in JL as a small side character but I don't want to see him in solo movies.

The difference with Jen is that she's an Oscar winner and she was the highlight of Silver Linings, she stole the show. You cant compare.

Hammer is a horrible choice for Batman now because his name will be mud as a leading man. Now that Lone Ranger hasn't pulled its weight. WB or any big studio aren't going to invest in that kind of actor.

Superman: Cavill
Batman: Luke Evans or Matt Bomer
WW: Gemma Arterton
Flash: Garret Hedlund (the lead guy from Tron: Legacy) or Charlie Hunnam
GL John Stewart: Chadwick Boseman
Aquaman: Charlie Hunnam, if he's not Flash/Barry Allen
Martian Manhunter: Lance Reddick

There WB, I just did your job for you. Now hire me.

Yeah she's an Oscar Winner... it was a phenomenal movie. And I would disagree that she stole the show. I would say the part was well written and I believe most actresses could have pulled it off well. Some would argue her personality is that of most attractive women.... CRAZY!!! Where is that Oscar worthy performance in HATES, or any other movie of hers. All i'm saying is we really don't know enough about Liam to say yes or no but with 4 starring roles coming up this year and next year, it appears Hollywood does. And for Hammer, apparently his performance isn't the problem with LR.

So, you really think if Kristen Stewart was given the role and she, like she usually does, sleepwalked her way through the movie, she would have gotten an Oscar? Because, you now, the part was...um... well written?

Also, about House on the End of the Street, while the movie didn't do particularly well, she did, technically steal the show, in that her role was actually praised by critics. And having watched the film I would agree.

Liam has come across as average in his admittedly few film outings- and that is my opinion and the opinion of quite a few others. There is no "we don't really know enough about Liam" about it. He's not underrated- he's VERY MUCH an average actor.
Don't get me wrong. He could in time turn it around. Dwayne Johnson (co-incidentally his future co-star) did. And also, arguably, Channing Tatum in recent times has shown some talent I didn't quite expect. To me, Paranoia could be his golden opportunity to impress.

Hammer may not be the problem with LR (though, I'm not quite sure about that) but it has done his reputation no favors. I mean, it is the same with what happened with Reynolds with the difference being Reynolds is already established in the industry. Hammer is still trying to find his footing and now, has slipped. Also, there is something goofy about his mannerisms that makes me feel he is more suited to being a boy scout (Superman reference for those who don't know) than the dark brooding Bruce Wayne.

She's also done Winter's Bone. I don't want Jennifer Lawrence as Wonder Woman but your comparison doesn't work.

Since Bale and Hammer are officially no longer attached to playing Batman that only leaves one logical conclusion... Adam West. He's the only one not publicly denying it.

I was going to mention him instead, but I thought that it was less plausible. He is from Gotham!

While I do and always have preferred Wally and John, I have a feeling that WB may go with the new 52 line up or just the major five as rumored. In any case, I would like Geoff Stults and Ben McKenzie as Hal and Barry.

Idris Elba for John Stewart looks like it could definitely be a reality.

I thought about that too honestly and it would not surprise me if they go with the New 52 line up. I can see the two working together.

With Idris Elba is saying he wants to be a superhero, and he's already a Marvel character, the obvious character for him to play is Green Lantern. WB should definitely go for him in JL

He'd have to refer to himself as Tyler Perry's John Stewart.
