Singer will surprise fans and haters alike once the 70's costumes are revealed.

We have already seen Magneto's new purple suit, Mystique is blue, and we'll end seeing Beast and Wolverine 70's costumes soon, so that moment will be the end of the whole "Singer doesnt like colours" discussion.

Singer doesn't like colours? Who conceived it?
Black costumes were good for present time, as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents: Black Widow, Hawkeye costumes are black too. Even Cap costume is darker now.
For sure we will have colour costumes in 70's.

If you look at the films its clear the future characters have dark costumes and people have said how much brown the 70s guys are wearing

Kinda gives the feeling singer only feels dark colours work

I just recently saw The Wolverine, which is a great film. The alternate ending was awesome and I'm pissed that they didn't make it the official ending; specially because from what I can see from the box it looks like a great design. It would be great to see what they showed fully realized, I really think it could work on screen. Hugh Jackman needs to wear it once before he's done with the role. And lets face if Captain America can look great on film there's no excuse not to use this costume.

So this is just about I how I picture the costume looking. I went with mostly black with yellow accents because I feel that fits the character and the tone of the X movies better. I considered removing the stripes to the sides, they just didn't look right when I tried it, but grew on me. The background is from The Avenger film, the costume would work perfect with Marvel's tone.

You have some skills man good job.

If I may say though it just does not feel right that he would be standing in the middle of the street in New York City in the middle of the day.

I get that, but I wanted to try a lighter feel, like what if Wolverine was in The Avengers. Plus I didn't feel like trying to match the lighting of the background.

Ask and ye shall receive, Besides what superhero out there actually keeps their mask on in the movie?

Also someone suggested one with a slimmer mask:

Costume looks good, mask not so much.

(Not your skills which are awesome, just him wearing a mask)
