You know the most fascinating thing about Polar Bears? They're the fiercest killers in the animal kingdom.

Someone should really limit his access to the Discovery Channel.

But they were heavily distracted by the sudden heat vision being unleashed from Zod's eyes, that's when fear set in for them. I don't blame them for having a mental lapse in that case since people can be distracted during tumultuous disasters in real life. Plus, I have a feeling if they went out straight, that Zod would just escalate the situation (there was considerable speed from when Zod unleashed the heat vision to his neck snap scene, leaving me to reason that he would increase the speed if it meant absolutely killing them).
ah, thanks.

About the Krypton prequel, maybe include some more Krypton stuff in flashbacks in MOS 2. Think about it, it could be seen as back story on Krypton, and it could be about BRAINIAC on Krypton, and its role on Krypton (if he has any impact on MOS2) and perhaps any involvement with Jor-El. This could give insight on BRAINIAC and perhaps give some more screen time to Jor-El, who seemed to be a fan favorite.

No law broken, but it would never justify its budget.

I think if MoS was on track for the avengers money there might have been grumblings about such an idea, however an animated prequel is not really that out there? They had those animated prequel shorts released between Begins and TDK.

MoS arguably brought krypton into the fold more than any past superman film i think they have something they can still work with?

if I was with my family and some Kryptonian madman was blocking our way with a large beam of heat vision,
Our first reaction would be one of absolute panic .
We might not be thinking logically of exits because we were frozen by fear.

It's a story that Kevin Smith tells when they worked together on Superman Lives. InJustice was quoting that story. I can't pull it up now, but just search "Kevin Smith Superman Lives" on YouTube and you'll see it.

Holy hell... how do guys like that have a job in Hollywood? Brainiac wrestling a Polar Bear. Seriously? And Sean Penn as Superman, because he has the deranged eyes of a killer. Ooookay...

To be fair,Peters never got his way in regard to Penn being Superman.
So, no harm done

I've heard that story about 12 times. Still not tired of it. Same with the Tim burton, Prince and how he met his wife stories.

I don't really care to see Parasite, but Lobo would be a great character to introduce. He's neutral, so I feel like it would add an interesting story element.

Are you really going to put yourself in that situation? All Zod would need to do is duck his head and goodbye.
