The nicknames on back of jerseys isn't exactly a new idea either. The NBA did it back in the 70s as well.

Nicknames on jerseys, the NBA is becoming a farce.

That happened when the Miami Cheat got together. Might as well go full circus.

Sad to say, I think that once Stern steps away,a move a lot of people including myself has been clamoring for, will actually make the league worse. Just have that gut feeling man!

I don't blame you. I never really took you as a quick thinker. Now run along little fella & spread this new found knowledge with the rest of your "friends".

Finally! Rose is back! It's been far too long..

Hopefully he's still got that hop in him, I'd love to see him in a star-studded dunk contest.

Edit: Ha, and just after I posted this I went downstairs and saw the newest SLAM on the counter for me with Mr. D-Rose on the cover.

What do they represent? Stars willing to give up personal stats and glory and take less money to win multiple 'chips?

I can still remember when he fell.

One of the worst feelings ever. Then the games proceeding. Noah limping down the court. Sumb**ch.

Then last year, the growing frustration watching him not play as players vomited on the sidelines. I really hope all this was worth it, & he doesn't break his leg 2 games in.

It has been too long. I really hope he is 100%

Amare Stoudemire secretly had a 3rd procedure done on his knee over the summer. Man, that contract is gonna be painful to get through. 45M over the next 2 years for 8-10 min a night.....ugh.

Amare was done 2 years ago. Knicks fans should get used to Bargnani as their starting PF...lol

Would love that option but Woodson has Melo at the 4 which is a horrible mistake. Despite what they say, lo in not a pf!!

They're not asking him to grab rebounds or defend. Putting him at that position creates all sorts of mismatches for the defense. That's why they do it and that's why they'll keep doing it.

How so?!?! When they played Indiana, he had to guard West and on the other end, they put George on him but had West guarding Felton or Shumpert. That's what happens. The best defender on the team guards him no matter what. And a pf needs to be a decent rebounder. The Knicks are almost dead last in rebounds because they leave Chandler alone to fend for himself. They have to improve on this. Melo would put up good numbers no matter where you put him so put him back at his natural position. Plus they have like 6 pfs on the bench. Wouldn't it make sense to start one of them and put Melo back?

No no, get out with that rational thinking. No room for that here. We have to post pics of D-Rose now even though he hasn't dribbled a basketball in more than 500 days.

Guess the NBA is thinking about going back to 2-2-1-1-1 for the finals. Awesome. I always felt that the other team getting 3 straight at home is just as good as having home court for the first 2.

Good to hear. Screw the media for getting their way in the first place.

"Boo-hoo, we have to pay for more 1 more plane flight." :

Otherwise, I just heard an interview with new Knicks GM Steve Mills. He said flat out that Isiah will never come back. Time will tell.......time will tell.....

-Superstars running the league and being more important than the team when the superstars are running around building teams amongst themselves
-Lack of competitiveness when superstars are trying to form "superteams" together instead of competing against each other
-"Give up"? lol All 3 still got max deals, and got way more opportunities at endorsements due to their media friendly superteam than they did as individuals
-Small market teams not having a fair shot at competing when superstars bail on small market teams the first opportunity that they have, and often times as in the case of LeBron James or Dwight Howard, hold those small market franchises hostage in the meantime.

I'm just mad that Miami got to create a superteam.

Don't they know the NBA only allows the Lakers to do that.
