And theShape I had just posted to you when the thread renewed. All I will say is Lois is the better journalist. Clark is not and I don't think he will be shown to be.

I don't know if I am just a grumpy bastard but the only ones i really care about are dc properties and spider man. Xmen are hit or miss but i want to see the film, i never cared about FF and after the disapointment that was Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 followed by the very not my sense of humour Guardians of the Galaxy sneak peek i kinda lost interest to the MCCU.

I saw and had responded before it closed:

Quote:
What does Lois being the better reporter have to do with anything? Is that a problem? That's how she's portrayed in most interpretations of the characters, anyway.

As for Clark not being interested in writing...well, he didn't have many known interests since he was pretty much lost for the early portion of his life, trying/waiting to find out where he came from and what his purpose was. Now that he's found that and settled in his own skin finally, he's free to explore the real world in ways he hadn't before. Who's to say he won't really enjoy journalism and develop a passion for it? It doesn't have to simply be his cover and nothing more.

Also, Superman: The Movie, arguably one of the best superhero films ever made, shows Clark simply showing up at the Daily Planet after developing his powers and finally leaving Smallville. He meets, Lois, Perry, etc. I don't think that interpretation of Clark/Superman suffered because it wasn't demonstrated that he had a passion for journalism beforehand.

One thing I like about what MOS established is that since Lois already knows his identity, the scenes at the Planet won't be bogged down by Clark hopelessly fawning/bumbling around Lois. Instead of the whole "will she discover he's Superman?" and "will she fall for Clark or Superman?" dynamics, his Daily Planet scenes can focus on other things.
