At this point, Miller's just rambling to himself because he's not fond of the other characters, and was using Batman as his mouthpiece. I would be very careful with what advice I heard from him, and consult OTHER sources to back me up.

This Miller news actually has me more excited to see how bad this can be.

I have no idea why but this movie is starting to dip in anticipation for me.

This is what bugs me about certain people who write Batman they feel he needs to take the super powered hero down a peg or too simply cause he's not like them. That's really a disservice to not only the character he's bringing down but Batman himself and its poor writing.

Yeah, modern day Frank Miller giving advices about the story in this movie, I'm not exactly thrilled.

What I don't get is how so many people can see that it is not a good idea but yet Snyder thinks it is? Is he truly that oblivious?

Getting advice from Frank Miller? And we're supposed to believe this is a MOS sequel.

Well hopefully his advice will be minimal, I'm not about to say Superman vs Batman or whatever the hell it's called will suck but my hope for the film isn't at a great level right now after this news.

An anonymous source for The Independant. http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-en...s-8739894.html

However, this COULD be a rumor.

Lol. Yea, I was one of the people, defending Snyder saying he was just using that quote as a tool to introduce the movie at ComicCon. But now we get this news? It is getting clearer where this movie is headed.

Would've been nice if they had went to Waid and/or Morrison for MOS...

Miller's advice will be to have Batman beat the heck out of Superman.

I was excited but not anymore after this news. I had a feeling I was trying to ignore that once Snyder got his hands on Batman he was just going to go into geek overload and have our worst fears realized with how the interaction will be between Superman and Batman.

This batman will be hardcore for sure. Neither him, Superman or other upcoming DC movie characters will be "Marvel light type" heroes.

This Batman is going to be one super-acrobatic-powerd mother "&%#€= for sure, suit will have super-tech-powers etc.

Canīt wait!

I'm not worried about the hardcoreness of Bats for this film. I'm more worried about him becoming the main protagonist above Supes.

I think if Snyder is let to do what he wants, this is what we will get. Which is a good thing.

It's definitely dampens my excitement, I guess I'm just worried now

If Snyder was just gonna ask Miller "how do I make Batman beat Superman" then he would have just read TDKR, he will likely be asking different things. Why he went to Miller though I dunno.

And Batman in turn will teach him that you shouldn't kill people but you don't need to save them

Yeah, I agree. I enjoyed it a lot. It was well done.

And to everyone saying how they hated lapdog Superman in Dark Knight Returns, I am right there with you guys, I don't want to see lapdog Supes, either.

Even that worries me though cause I don't care for how he writes Batman or Superman except for Batman Year One.

Yes. Batman will teach Superman restraint and compassion.
