I didn't have an issue with Caine, though that may have something to do with being a 90's kid, so anything from the 90's instantly makes me nostalgic. I thought he improved greatly as the show went on. At the very least he was an awesome Clark.

I was in high school when L&C was on the air. I wanted to like a weekly Superman show... But it's a textbook example of a time when comic book superheroes were being developed by people who just had no clue. Not one single clue. People may defend it by saying that it was a "rom com" interpretation. Yet even with that as a starting point it didn't even work on that level for me. Cain's a nice guy and all but he never should have been cast. His post show career kind of confirms how mediocre his chops have always been. And Hatcher is lucky she's good looking, cut she aint exactly Streep herself. Her biggest post show success was an overblown night time soap that would have had the same success with or without her. I might have forgiven the show if it at least worked on it's own terms, succeeded at what it set out to do. But it comes off as a ridiculous, Power Rangers level parody of the franchise.

I know people think that SECRET ORIGIN, ALL STAR and BIRTHRIGHT are the main influences on MOS, but to be honest, spiritually it felt like an adaptation of the early BYRNE Superman work.

I'm a 90's kid myself.
I know what you mean about feeling nostalgic towards most anything 90's

Even as a kid it made me cringe.

That's a great image. It's also a great example of how helpless Batman would be if superman decided to do anything to him.

Yeah, I agree with this, and I can definitely see Goyer turning to that as his main inspiration.

On the pic above, y'know, Bermejo draws a fine Superman.

They don't need to be adapted in the film, but I'd love them to adapt these images into posters:

Batman:

Superman:

Superman/Batman:

Batman Vs Superman:

Someone posted a scene in another thread and it was the exact one I was thinking of. I want a scene with Sups and Bats at the grave of Waynes. For me this is one of the greatest connections between Supes/Bats and Bruce/Clark.

I want something similar to the ending of Injustice.

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
I'm pretty sure there won't be an alternate evil Superman, but the effect could still stand. All that's needed is the suggestion that Superman could go rogue, have it be a subtle hint throughout the movie. I just want it to end on Batman's words "If you do, I'm coming for you."

I want to see the moment where Superman trusts Batman with Kryptonite, just in case...
