This is for a "Nobody's Immune To Breast Cancer" awareness ad. Notice how they've chosen 4 of the most recognizable comic heroines from both DC and Marvel...and look who's representing the great Marvel? Just goes to show how global and massive Storm's appeal is...even in the mainstream world.

I've ALWAYS said that Storm is Marvel's answer to DC's Wonder Woman. I love how they have both women side by side in this promo.

I agree I just wish Marvel would give her that push she deserves. Her own solo would be starters and plot or storylines that impact the MU involving her would be icing on the cake.

now if only either character could get a decent representation on film...

if they had to include shadow king, I'd think an opening scene with Xavier in Africa, having a pyschic battle on the Astral Plane would be nice, recruiting Storm, but we have to stop and wonder will the writer's and director give Storm that much character building so early into the film.

In terms of a good villain for Storm to face in any future movies, I'd like to see Candra. She was close to a match for Storm and she helped Storm grow as a character, kind of. Shadow King would be good for Storm's origin but for future films I think Candra would really be good.

Funny you should say that because in a relatively recent interview She said this:

After giving birth I will go back to work as soon as possible. When I got Nahla I took time off for almost four years. But now that job-wise everything is going so well, I definitely want to keep on working. That's why this little baby will travel a lot with me!

I do in fact remember this, it's interesting she getting straight back into it, so good for her, but it maybe other projects I guess... Well have to keep a eye on her for sure!
