Found it! Looks awesome. The tone seems like it is much different from the TASM. I hope I am wrong, cuz I really liked the dark and gritty tone.

Really? The trailer showed two different tones. Unlike the trailers for the first one, the new one doesn't seem to pretend that it's gonna be dark and gritty.

The trailer was okay. Maybe it'll change my mind when an official release is out. I didn't like the humor in the trailer since it felt forced for some of them. Some of the funny scenes such as Peter and his aunt arguing about the clothes in the washing machine made me cringe a little. Some of the action and cinematography did look col though. Foxx as Electro is pretty cool so far.

I voted Cool, but was close to giving it an Ok. Before I found the bootleg I had seen way too many fans exploding about how awesome111!!!! it was. It was indeed pretty cool and has me even more excited for the film, but that times square scene wasn't as epic as people made it out to be.

I think your expectations were way too high. Its hard to judge from the crappy quality, but I think the times square scene was pretty darn cool.

They were high because of how many fans were talking about it like it was the best footage ever.

IDK about it being the best thing ever, but I really thought it was amazing.

Electro's "pity me" lines were lamesauce, as expected, Paul did not impress in his footage (though short), The osborn stuff looks..interesting, and Peter/Gwen will be class (Webb is phenomenal on character moments).

So, this "Amazing Spider-Man 2" footage gets a resounding "Meh."

I really enjoyed it, so I voted "Cool~." It wasn't anything that epic yet since it's too early for any big finished money shots (though Spidey catching that car looked pretty awesome from what I could tell), but Andrew just IS Spider-Man to me, so I loved all the humor that was evident in it, as well as the little hints of the more emotional stuff for Harry, Norman and Gwen. Jury's still out on Foxx/Electro for me, though.

Okay, nobody take this the wrong way but did anyone else get a slight Spider-Man 3 Act 1 vibe from the way Peter is getting a bit cocky and the city is celebrating Spider-Man? Not saying the movies will be anything alike, but the general setup for where Peter is at seems to be much more similar to SM-3 than SM-2 which is interesting. And appropriate I suppose, since he does have the girl.

Other than that, the trailer looked pretty good. A lot of daytime Spidey footage this time.

^ Nah I didn't get Spider-Man 3 at all. On the real, his attitude I think is different than TASM. His humor is more out of confidence. I didn't think it exuded vibes of SM3 imo.

It was pretty cool. The music was extremely cliche and obnoxious but there were some really good things about the footage. My favorite was seeing so much of Spiderman and his trolling ways. Some people seem to take issue with that but I love that aspect of the character and Garfield nails it. This plays a lot into why I prefer this version over Toby Maguire's, though the latter made a better Peter Parker (arguably the more important side). I hope this movie betters Parker as a character.

I appreciated the real stunt work in the action bits, what there was anyway.

Cool enough. Only scene/moment I didn't like at all was the laundry scene, just all awkward instead of also funny and charming. Kinda like the egg scene from the first movie.

Agreed. I don't fear this stuff. I embrace de funniez with Spider-Man.

I loved the humor and most of the tone for the trailer. I think my favorite part has to be near the end when Spidey just catches the car. Just catches it. Like it's nothing. Unf.

I would love a series of trailers that all were set to a specific tone. One more serious (probably a trailer for electro) and one full of one liners by Spider-man. I think that would make my day.

The egg scene from the first movie was awesome. Reminded me of TSSM which was a very good thing.
