Robocop?
It would be good if they lighten Supes's costume up a little like this, for the sake of the contrast ![]() |

I like that Superman suit better than the MOS one, I like that the little lines all over it are actually blue instead of black and that the belt area is "red" but with a yellow buckle and a hint of a yellow line going throughout.

I never really liked TDK/TDKR cowl - looked too rounded, making him looked balloon headed, also didn't like the mouth opening. However I did like the fact he could finally turn his head.
I found this custom job, which is based on the Jim Lee Batman cowl... [IMG] ![]() |

Would it kill them to have longer ears? I like the short ears and all, but the tall ears really helps the creature of the night imagery of Batman. Which is what he is suppose to be.

I really like that cowl. Personally I prefer long ears but I'm okay if they're a bit shorter. Just as long as they're straight, I really hate the curved ears on TDK cowl.

Okay with ears that length, but they can also be a bit longer and that's cool, too. Not TOO long though, if I must choose between one or the other, even though I dislike either extreme, I prefer the shorter ears to the long ones - how the hell does he fit in the batmobile with the real long ones?

For me, when it comes to the ears on the cowl, I typically like them longer, but my feelings about the costume for this new movie lead me to wanting them shorter. I want them to make this Batman instantly distinctive, at first glance, from all previous big-screen Batmen, and we have yet to see a live-action Batman with that type of cowl.

To all of these I say
![]() ![]() It's funny how most of the fans hated the rubber suits we got in the movies, especially in the TDK trilogy with the segmented jigsaw puzzle mess, yet some of them keep posting this futuristic Halo combat gear crap. I mean seriously? Give me a break ![]() Last edited by Alex_Spider; 08-19-2013 at 06:19 PM. |

People like the rubber because its the most recent incarnation of the suit. Its what clicks when most of the GA thinks "Batman".

I like the armored suits, but I do agree it's time for a different style of suit, I say cloth with some armor hidden underneath.

I guess the design of the batsuit will really depend on what the story demands it to be.
For instance, in "The Dark Knight", the reason why we got a modified suit, story wise, was because Bruce wanted to be more faster and flexible when fighting in the suit. Now, when it comes to this film, does Bruce care more about being stealth and speed, or will he be padded up with extra armor if he were to consider a run-in with Superman on the battlefield at some point. |

^ The only person who could pull that suit off would be Karl Urban. Anyone else, it would look f***ing stupid.

There are ways to get grey/black and a shade of blue in the suit and have it work together without being too spandex looking. |

i think we need some kind of cloth suit or at least no rubber on the leotard. something along the lines of the fan films, DEAD END or something like BatInTheSun would make!

I thought we had been over this, extra armour isn't going to do anything to protect Batman if Superman decided to take him down. The only way it would is if Bats salvaged Zods armour and based his off of that and even then it probably wouldn't do much good.
