Why you gotta hype me even more, Jackman?

Hugh did say "increasingly better movies," but Singer has only made one such movie (that we've seen). He would have been the first, but we know what ended up happening. And yes, I'm one of the 10 people in the world who thinks The Dark Knight Rises is better than The Dark Knight.

Still get goosebumps from that scene.

So anyway guys, do you think Blink's powers will be on full display in X-Men: DOFP??

1.) Blade and Blade 2 were made by different directors

2.) Blade 2 was the most god awful piece of garbage I've ever had the displeasure of witnessing. I hate Guerillmo Del Toro with a freaking passion.

Ruffalo's Banner reminded me a lot of where Peter David took the character in his final issue of his run.

Nolan and Raimi didn't improve with every film. There was a different director for all of the Blade films.

I never understood the appreciation of the always angry line. He'd proven throughout most of the movie to be an easy going guy, a little withdrawn from the rest but not a guy burying constant anger under the suface.

I didn't like It eather.

It's funny how some take the X-Men films over the coals for changes but accept the MCU Banner which Is basiclly the David banner of TV version which was very
different from comic version.

There are some versions of Hulk when he changes he has banner's mind or some influence of banner but rarely gives banner complete control over transformation.

True, but both are generally excused or forgiven so to speak. It hasn't tarnished them.

You post in the other threads here, and know damn well alot of fans despise IM3 because of that choice.

When they disintegrate Captain America in the first 5 min of Avengers 2 and give reboot Blade eye lasers, a stitched mouth and a mind control via computer... or write a movie as bad as Origins. Then get back to me.

Without the mistakes of X3 and the BS that's Origins the X-Men franchise gets attacked as much as any other franchise.

I think that Despite First Class & The Wolverine' quality, people still haven't forgiven the studio for X3 & Origins.

That and the rights crusaders are the two main obstacles that Singer and Co have to overcome for DOFP to succeed financially.

I've been corrected about that & educated to understand that the Mandarin twist was a brillant political commentary in the movie.

Jackman better stop making me more excited about DoFP. Easily my most anticipated movie of 2014. I don't remember when I was this excited about a movie coming out. Perhaps with Prometheus I was, I remember watching the trailer a thousand times. Oh yeah, and I was really hyped up for Alien 3 at the time it was promoted. (edit: of course The Wolverine too)

And I like what he said about Singer. I don't remember having seen a trilogy which starts well and ends with the best movie of them all (although trilogy isn't the correct word here but you get what I mean). For me, TDKR is the weakest of all Nolan Batmans and makes me a frustrated little b**ch. Return of the Jedi is the weakest of Star Wars films (with different directors for every movie, I know, but I don't want to acknowledge the existence of the new ones), Return of the King was also the weakest of LOTR trilogy for me, SM3 was a mess... Perhaps if Del Toro did Hellboy 3, I'd get a good example. I loved those two Hellboy movies with unexpected gentle rage.

I really liked X1, but X2 was almost perfect. For me it's the best superhero movie ever made. If DoFP comes even close to that, I'll be one happy bastard. I fully trust mr.Singer with X-men. He'd always be my first choice for this particular job. I liked First Class and The Wolverine, but I wouldn't want any other director for this one.

So is there three eras in this movie?

I thought it'd be the X-Men vs the Sentinls era and the 1973 ear.

Eh nope. Fans are still upset and arguing about the treatment of the Mandarin.

I suggest you head over to CBM.com or IM3 forums. By the time you get out of there, you'll feel like you've been in a war. Go on, I dare ya

Yes you're absolutely correct.
The twist worked because it fit within the context and turntable of the film. The Mandarin worked on multiple levels without kicking you in the head with ideas. Simulataniously skewering the post-Nolan audience expectations of "realistic" villains, commenting on the idea of corporate and media created boogeyman in the real world while working as a dark mirror of Stark was clever.

It explored a lot of very complex themes without ever resorting to the type of blatant exposition that beat viewers about the head and shoulders with the writers' intent. At its heart, it was a very well-crafted character piece and a deft dissection of our current media-driven culture disguised in a superhero movie

But fans don't care, all they wanted was a Fu Manchu stereotype villain with Alien/Magic rings in a reality based IM film.

1) 70's
2) "not too distant future" (pretty much the same time as the end of Wolverine movie)
3) "Sentinels eating mutant babies" - future

I think. Correct me if I'm wrong, but be gentle.

If Ben Kingsly would have been the real Manadarin that would have been
acceptable. As far as I am concerned that's not Iron Man 3 only sin.

The Wolverine has been only film this year I haven't had issues with.I have
had problems with Star Trek Into Darkness and Man of steel just like I did
Iron Man 3.

You know full well If Fox ever pulled what marvel did with Iron Man 3 people wouldn't let them and me hear the end of it.Disney/MS are treated as crapping gold.
