I'd like to see armor again. But plates of armor on top of a more fabric looking material as demonstrated on the Arkham Origins suit.

We've never gotten a grey and black armored suit so that is something new and different

And we'll properly never get one, if you want them to keep throwing armor on him.

Fabric works for Spidey and Supes, I just don't see it working for Batman.
There has been no instance, ever, ANYWHERE, where I have seen a live action/cosplay Batman in fabric where I thought it looked awesome. Not once. Ever.

because you haven't seen a big budget movie company try to tackle a fabric Batsuit.

an armored batsuit is fine when everything is hyper realistic...but he's gonna look out of place especially standing next to other heroes. In Avengers Black Widow, Cap and Hawkeye fought an alien invasion with not so much an athletic supporter....Hawkeye did it with bare arms. Is Batman that much of a liability that he has to be in several layers of armor. People call Aqua-man lame but I can guarantee noone is thinking of putting him in armor just to keep up with the others.

Not always a sure thing, look at the suit in Superman Returns. That suit looked absolutely disastrous and that movie had over a 100 million for a budget.

Exactly. And again, I must re-iterate, Batman can have armor that protects him from whatever he needs protecting from, it just simply doesn't have to Look like armor, and in fact it would be better for his rep if it didn't look armored.

I dunno where youre getting the idea that it would be impossible to work in live action lol you have no imagination
No, the ones who think the suit needs to look so heavily armored or no-one will believe it's armored are the ones with no imagination, especially considering the real life fabrics that we have talked about ad infinitum will do the job just as well (or better, as fabrics allow much more flexibility and maneuverability) as armored plates.

When I look at the MOS suit it looked like it was some sort or armor and I would be ok with something like that.

At least we'll see the suit early. 2015 release, early 2014 shooting schedule. We may see the suit as early as Jan/Feb. Unless all Batman's scenes are shoot on a closed set in which case we may not see the suit until the official press release would be could months and months away.

I was going to ask the same question. I seem to remember the ASM suit being revealed quickly after Garfield was announced but I suspect that was to pre-empt the leaked on set photos.

March is too late...by that time someone would have leaked it. I think we'll get it Dec-Feb time frame.

I think someone will leak the concept drawing by the end of the year.

What I liked about the ASM and MoS suit reveals were they were pictures in context rather than a drab photo shoot.

ASM - Peter beaten up, claw marks on his chest.
MoS - Superman smashed into a bank vault door.

I hope we get the same for Batman.

I remember the photo reveal of Heath Ledger's Joker was a photo shoot

Pretty much skipped the entire Ledger thing until I saw him in the movie. Pretty glad I did as it was a major shock

My mistake, I did see that picture. I must have dismissed it because the reveal in the movie was a real eye opener for me.
