WB better get on her case then before she either ages out of the role or Marvel snap her up for someone like the Enchantress. She would certainly suit that part, especially with her height and her blonde hair, but I think she ought to have a more iconic role like WW. Now if she were prepared to do both then I wouldn't complain.

See, this is my problem with her look. It is the Gwyneth Paltrow-esque look to her.

It reminds me of one of the things that really bugged me about the Russell Crowe Robin Hood movie. And that was having Cate Blanchett be Maid Marian. I think Cate is a fantastic actress, but she is not Maid Marian, at least in my mind.

I think Debicki has a slight coldness to her look that hurts her in my mind.

I still not sure there is an actress in Hollywood right now that can fulfill the role in my mind.

If I had to make a choice right now, I'd probably say Evangeline Lily.

I see more Sharapova, personally. Or Rooney Mara, more so than Paltrow.

So, looks like Sharapova/Rooney Mara, has a voice similar to Cate Blanchett's, and is as tall as Gabrielle Reece.

That's a strength imo.

Well Paltrow was only in some shots, but obviously not in the pic you posted above.

This one is a bit more Paltrow, and she looks different to the pic of her above. But like I said, also mixed a bit with Teri Polo.

But definitely Maria Sharapova in most of them. In fact, if ever a movie were made of her life, Debicki would be the actress to play her. She would have the right height and look. Maria is 6'2".

Also, Maria and Gwyneth actually have a somewhat similar look anyway and have sometimes been compared to each other in certain shots.

Yeah, that photo I posted has some weird filter applied to it hat makes Debicki's eyes a kind of green instead of her natural blue. And since you mentioned she looks a bit like Paltrow/Teri Polo, I can't un-see the likeness now haha.

Is it just me or does Debicki look too Russian for WW? Oh and she looks too frail, and she didn't really blow me away in Gatsby.

I don't know about the "too Russian" part. But I agree about the "too frail" part.

Idk, that's probably just me, and shes not even Russian, i dont think.. She just doesnt seem to be able to pull off a WW look. But yeah, definitely too frail. I'm sick of these thin, frail actresses getting cast in these action roles, not believable at all if you ask me. Great example was Zoe Saldana recently in Colombiana, she looked (and to be fair still does) like she couldn't finish a small meal let alone kick some serious butt and become an assassin. I ain't buying it anymore. This WW actress needs to be built, very similar to Jessica Biel, who is perfectly toned. The right combination of sexy and fit.

The frail part is not a problem. It's not like Christopher Reeve was already in Superman shape when he won the role. She can easily put on the muscle to achieve the right look. Her physique is kind of like 17-year old Maria Sharapova as opposed to 20+ year old Maria Sharapova (who had put on more muscle by then).

I imagine whoever got the role of Wonder Woman would go through a similar regime that Henry Cavill did for Man of Steel although probably not to the same extent.

How do you know unless sheis give an opportunity. Biel was not always so toned, that came from hard work in the gym with personal trainers and probably a personal chef feeding her correctly. Any actress can tone up gve the right backing.

i don't think saldana in columbiana is a good comparison, debicki is damn near a foot taller then her. i think a more apt comparison would be saldana as neytiri.
