I think Driver would have been way more suited for Luthor than Eisenberg. His voice is excellent. Deep and eloquent.

If the rumors are true and they really are going for a Luthor with a street gang/crime background then I'd believe Driver for that background way more over Eisenberg.

I would have preferred a monkey over Eisenberg.

I like this a lot better than him as Dick.

Starting to get the feeling we won't be swing nightwing or any robin in this movie at all

i hope we do! but the fact that Driver was apparently up for Luthor and not Dick points to there being no Nightwing

I could see Josh Hutcherson as Dick.

I look at it this way.

If this new DC Cinematic Universe is going to stay faithful to the comics, character-wise, we should at least get an acknowledgement of Dick's existence.

Something like

Bruce: "Alfred, have you spoken to Dick recently?"

Alfred: "Master Dick is doing wonderful in college, sir, top of his class."

He's just not that hot though. Now Liam Hemsworth. He's hot. He could play Nightwing.

A line like that could be nice.

Even if they don't want to do that, I'd love to see a line-up of the Robin costumes in the cave, one dusty (because Richard obviously doesn't wear it), one tattered (because Jason died in it), and then one shiny and new.

I think Hutcherson would be better as Jimmy Olsen.

Hutcherson is too overexposed to play Dick imo.

Even though he was just in BOMBPEII, I think Kit Harington would make a good Nightwing. He's definitely got the abs for it.

Logan Lerman is even more exposed, and he will be an extremely good fit for Dick.

His schedule is pretty full though. Will he be able to cram Dick in?

Nah he's not nearly as exposed as Hutcherson. Hutcherson is in Hunger Games, way bigger than anything Lerman has done. But Lerman is the no 2 guy in that age range.

Richard Madden was a horrible suggestion for Batman, but a great one for Nightwing. A great choice. He or Kit Harrington would make a great Nightwing

Seems like everyone suggested seems too old for Dick or too young for Dick.

Batman will be forty in this film. He's most frequently about a decade older than Dick.

He can. He played an American in Klondike and did a great job with it. Madden or Harington would make a good Dick Grayson, IMO.

The most left field casting for this role would be Paul Dano.
