The 66 origins skin looks cool sure. But is anyone seriously suggesting that be a basis for the movie suit? That'd look horrible!

I appreciate it for what it is, but that is not a good basis for a movie suit. The regular Origins suit is probably what Snyder will be looking at

Sorry for the flipped pic.
Yeah, I think that looks pretty great. I don't understand all the complaints of it looking overly bulky or anything like that. On an actor with a more realistic build, something like that would look great.

The argument that the suit is too bulky and wouldn't look good in live action is really stupid actually.

Obviously when someone suggests the Arkham Origins suit, they mean for it to be form fitting on a realistic build. That suit only looks bulky because the Arkham games are known for making all their characters ridiculously muscular.

One of my favorite things about the Origins suit is how imposing and intimidating it can look. Imagine seeing this as you try to mug a lady...

Love the Nolan films, but they abandoned this aspect of Batman after Begins.

Not many are gonna agree with you, but I do.

They were AMAZING movies from a story stand point, but I don't appreciate the world that Nolan built as much as some other people do. With a few small changes his world could have fit with other superheroes, but Nolan was too stubborn. It's the past now, hopefully the new Batman takes what Nolan did right and corrects what he didn't get right.

Just to clarify, I love the Nolan movies, but I would've enjoyed them a lot more if Ra's was more supernatural, if Bane had the venom and wasn't Talia's pawn, if John Blake was tweaked to fit Dick Grayson's story, and Scarecrow should have been way more terrifying and the Scarecrow visuals should've been WAY crazier than they were.

Not trying to derail the conversation.. i hope in this new universe we get to see Batman costumes with the regular black bat symbol and later the yellow oval symbol

^ As I said before, the realism is both the best and worst thing about the Nolan films.

Is that a young Mel Gibson I see in the first pic?

Those kinds of things are why Begins is my favorite of the Nolan films (and my favorite Batfilm) It had the perfect balance of realism and fantasy for me, I loved TDK and TDKR, but I'm dissapointed that they abandoned so many of the things that made Begins memorable. Can't wait to see what Snyder does with Batman.

Yeah FINALLY we've got a reasonable explanation for why Batman hates Jews.

interesting rumor about the old batmobile. i actually got an oldshool wibe from the teaser logo when first anounced...maybe bruce is a very nostalgic person. Technically advanced in the old days but now has to get back on track with all the new alien apperance and technology ...so, old meets new shool and both learn from each other

http://batman-news.com/2013/10/23/ba...-old-cadillac/

An “old Cadillac” will feature prominently in the film. When I remarked to my source that the Cadillac Sixteen concept car from a few years back looked a lot like a Batmobile, he stayed mum.

“Dr. Detroit” goes on to speculate that it may even be modeled after a 1943 Cadillac convertible, since that was used in the first Batman serial.

The "Old" thing from BoF is conjecture. The reason Caddy was selected:

BoF? I thought the source was BatmanNews?

If I knew it was from Jett, I would have known it was BS.

With a few simple tweaks, that right there would be a sick Batmobile.

As per the Batsuit, I wouldn't at all mind something along the lines of the ones depicted in the Arkham games. Obviously toned down a bit though, but the basic concept of those are excellent.
