Default SyFy's Warehouse 13

I'm only watching for Joanne Kelley. She's so frakin' hawt! Hopefully the characters are good since the premise isn't all that.

I'm watching it on Hulu. I tell myself that to make me feel better about the name change.

Watched it. Loved it. Can't wait for more.

It felt like part x-files, part indiana jones, which was an odd but very successful balance. The preview for the rest of the upcoming episodes has me excited as well. I have to admit, even from just the preview, I may have a crush on the chick who flashed the Vulcan salute and said she was "next gen W-13".

Of course, the main character (Micah I think it was) was quite a babe herself.

Anyway, like I said, great stuff, can't wait for more!

Sweet, I didn't know it premiered last night. That means Hulu should have it later today (unless they pull that one-week delay crap again).

It's great. Good chemistry from all the characters. And yes, Jo(that's what I call her) was firing on all cylinders.

This show reminded me alot of the old Friday The 13th tv series...

As for last night's ep, it wasn't bad actually.

kinda meh for me....like its trying too hard to be quirky...don't like those old fashioned video communicator things...like Pete...don't like the girl, she looks like she has gas...don't get the residual energy thing...liked that they went with Lucretia Borgias hairpin for the first item we see....

I like the steampunk look.

I dunno if I'll follow but I'll tune in from time to time.

I thought that as well. Actually, a kind of cross between Friday the 13th and the X-files, but with a lighter tone. It also really reminded me of the Librarian series.

I just saw the first episode tonight and actually liked it a lot. I'm actually a fan of Saul Rubinek, they guy who plays Artie. Ever since he was in that episode of Star Trek: TNG where he tries to kidnap Data to be part of his collection. I always end up recognizing him in the parts he plays and he always does a good job.

It's going on my DVR list from now on. Occasionally Sci-Fi kicks out a decent series (Farscape, BattleStar Galactica, Eureka, Dresden Files), hopefully this is another one. And hopefully it doesn't get canned too early like Farscape and Dresden Files.

Also....Did I see a clip for an upcoming episode with Tricia Helfer?? I think I did!! yum!

Eh. I watched the pilot and I'm not really into the show. The main characters weren't really too likable individually, and they didn't have much chemistry together. The whole premise that something like Warehouse 13 would be such a low-budget, pathetic operation was kind of silly. Which would've been fine, except for my last problem with it: the tone was all over the place. It seemed like the show wasn't sure whether it should take itself seriously or not. Just meh all over for me. Shame, though. Saul Rubinek and CCH Pounder are awesome.

That's kind of how I felt. I was hoping for something a bit more mysterious or scientific, but they kind of lost me when the ferret magically appeared in the teakettle.

I got Amanda Waller goosebumps everytime she made an appearance within the show. Exactly the same type character.

See, I was hoping for the opposite: a light-hearted take on this crazy warehouse that emphasized the absurdity of it all around relatable, everyman protagonists. Unfortunately, the tone shifted wildly throughout the pilot and our everyman protagonists weren't all that relatable or compatible with each other, in my opinion.

I think it's a good start. It was etertaining...but it still needs to find the right niche. I agree, it was a little all over the place in terms of tone. It feels like they haven't quite found the right niche for the lead male role either.

I thought the same about the lead female, to be honest. They can't just be relegating her to obnoxious ice queen permanently, right? I didn't feel the slightest shred of sympathy for her throughout the pilot. She's about as unlikable a character as I've ever encountered in a TV show.

I think it's just one of those shows where it's going to start out slow...but eventually get brilliantly witty and enjoyable.
(I hope)

You guys are crazy. The leads have good chemistry. The Myka character isn't grumpy like Olivia and smiles unlike Scully in the beginning.

Just watched episode 2. Much better now that the run time is regular.

I agree, like the chemistry of all the characters, i think episode 2's pace was naturally punchier and a step up from the good pilot. I'll definitely keep watching.
