Question Do you often re-watch old TV shows?

I often get into a mood to re-watch old TV shows on DVD.

Each year I'd probably re-watch the the entire seasons of Chuck, Star Trek TOS & Deadwood. And the early seasons of Sliders, NCIS, two and a half men, two guys a girl and a pizza place, Transformers G1

Do you guys return to old series and re-watch them?

I usually like to wait a while before I venture back into an old TV show. Take Smallville for example. I last watched that in 2011. I might wait another 5-7 years before I'd watch it all over again. I'll catch the occasional re-run from time to time.

I like to wait a long time before rewatching. I think I have only ever rewatched Firefly (once), Babylon 5 (once) , Sailor Moon seasons 1+2 (once), Angel seasons 2-5 (once).

It's just that ... There is so much awesome stuff that I have watched zero times. I'd rather watch some of that then rewatch something whose plot I already know.

All the time.

Especially animated sitcoms. I can watch the Simpsons any time (seasons 1-8).

Or Fawlty Towers.

Sitcoms just seem made for reruns.

I re-watch Buffy, Angel, Veronica Mars and Arrested Development all the time. Been re-watching Rome and 24 lately too. Now that I think about it, re-watching old shows is basically a regular every day mode of operation for me, lol.

A few. I'm trying to watch a bunch of old Doctor Who episodes but haven't made much progress for months. I do love to watch the Real Ghostbusters cartoon though. I'll watch that every few months.

SURE I do... especially during dinnertime and I occasionally flip thru the satellite channels for the recent stuff as well as the local rerun channels like MeTV for some of the oldie classics...
