AoS being set before IM3 is simply not credible, and I have yet to decipher why people sometimes want to insist it is.
again... we were watching Extremis through Tony's eyes... Maya had known that it explodes for nearly 15 years.. you don't think she'd publish her findings like a normal scientist somewhere?

infact... Coulson said it was still in an "experimental phase" I don't think Extremis was doing squat after IM3.. it was put to an obvious halt.

keep in mind, the season premier, the guy didn't just have extremis in him.. he had gamma rays, and all sorts of crap in him.

I dunno... I feel that's generally how most young Whedon characters talk. As for her relationship with Coulson, I get more of an Echo (from Dollhouse) vibe than a Buffy one. Coulson's relationship with her is not quite a paternalistic one, where as Giles/Buffy was rife with father/daughter allusions.

I always get lost with the continuity in the comics .
I dont care about the continuity in AOS .
I care about the stories and the chracterizations.
And I think both of those elements are pretty strong right now .

Van Camp will do the usual press tour thing when TWS comes out so trying to keep people from finding out she's in the film or playing Agent 13 won't concern the producers. Besides, the reason for giving her the role was partially to promote synergy across the Marvel and ABC brands. She is one a moderately successful show that's in its third (?) season. Disney/Marvel/ABC will want to capitalize on both of her roles in every possible way.

For S2 I hoping for some stand-alone ,hopefully "Damage Control",and "MARVELS" stories mixed in.

It seem like 'Joss' shows always had a 'Buffy-like' character which is nothing new.

She gets kidnapped again in next weeks episode. New agent or not, it's just dumb.

Keen is tough as nails though. She isnt just some dumb woman. She actually managed to escape from the bad guy for a little while in the newest episode.

NBC keeps going this route and have her get kidnapped every episode, the show won't last long...

Where in the promos does this happen? Also she was not kidnapped in the 1st episode, or the 2nd, or the 3rd. If your complaint is she is put in danger by the writers? Well welcome to shows that state that they are action/dramas. Like... Oh.... ABC's AGENTS OF SHIELD?

Agents of Shield is starting to lose my interest. The first episode was awesome, but the last few have been sub par in my view.

I think it's the reverse for most people. The pilot was quite dull and the others have been improving. I don't see any way in which the pilot was better than the subsequent episodes.

I thought the pilot was great, but I do agree that the show has gotten better with each episode...

Yeah, I think the Graviton episode was the best so far. Apart from the fact that it had a comic character, I thought the plot and action was more interesting, and it also had this:

Looks like Graviton was already working his magic in that scene, if you know what I mean. Eh? Eh?

I think it was appropriate there was that scene in that particular episode as opposed to a different one. It all fits together thematically.

My problem with AoS is that it seems a bit campy. I mean look at the difference in quality of filming, acting, and set lighting in Arrow compared to AoS. Arrow seems soo much more gritty than AoS and you would think the "classic Hero in tights" show would be alot harder to make it gritty than a show about federal agents.

They need a few things to make it pop.
  1. Coulson needs to actually lead the group in a aggressive manner
  2. They need a heavy hitter. Good shows always have a "Oh they made (Insert big bad dude in here) mad! Stuff about to hit the fan now!
  3. We need to see serious sides to the lab geeks. Think CSI, all the lab geeks were cool and fun but they had a serious side as well.
  4. Ward sucks. Sorry he is about as interesting to watch as drywall. They are not spending massive amounts of money on special effects, is it too much to ask for some quality actors. I think Alphas TV show had waaaaayyy superior acting on their show and it still got canceled.
  5. And most important SHOW SOME DAMN SUPERHEROS!! I dont need to see A-listers but come on I'm sure Luke Cage, Shang-Chi, Amadeus Cho somebody can show up and say hi

Wasnt there a Shang Chi reference in the last episode ?
That opens up the door to an appearance IMO.

Not really. They were talking about the Shanxi (pronounced Shanshi) province in North China which is an actual place. It sounds vaguely similar but it wasn't a reference to the character Shang Chi. It doesn't open up the door to any appearance anymore than someone saying "it rattles my cage" would open up an appearance for Luke Cage.

I guarantee you, if someone did use that turn of phrase, you'd have boatloads of fanboys come out of the woodwork saying "Luke Cage confirmed!"
