I can't help but get the feeling that one of the TV shows might be Blade.

Whatever the shows are, I hope they're better than Agent of SHIELD. I've been largely unimpressed by it so far.

I like the idea of keeping them short, though and including a miniseries. That way they can focus on telling a specific story instead of worrying about keeping the show alive and coming up with new episode plots.

But we already got a Blade TV series a few years ago.

I think they might want to do something different.

I would much rather a broader Nightstalkers TV series.

Kevin Feige on Dr. Strange:

Quote:
Moving beyond Phase Two, and Movies.com grabbed a few words about future Marvel films, beginning with the long-rumoured Doctor Strange, which is expected to land during Phase Three: "Doc Strange, as I've been saying for years, is a movie I believe we should make -- we're just figuring out how to make it a great movie. It is in active development right now. Whether that's one of the movies we announce for 2016 or 2017, we have to see. I think it'll be the middle of next year before we announce officially what the post Ant-Man films will be."

This here is just a little bit of fun, don't take it too seriously.
If Disney,Sony and FOX collaborated to make a giant MCU here's how it should have looked,
I'd keep most of Phase 1 the same but for Captain America I'd throw in a Wolverine cameo. First Class would fall into that domain too. A reference to SHIELD would be enough (or perhaps replace CIA with them).
Phase 2
The Amazing Spider-Man: We get references to Iron Man. We would see Stark Tower and perhaps Stark Industries could be mentioned as a rival of OsCorp. I'd also like a reference to mutants in the "tree of life" scene.
Iron Man 3: AIM could be mentioned as being growing faster than it's bigger rivals (like OsCorp).
Captain America The Winter Solider: A mutant cameo would be nice as a minor villain, not major but someone hired to take Cap down. A billboard saying "OsCorp- Building a better tomorrow".
The Amazing Spider-Man 2: The Rhino suit is actually a prototype of an Iron Man armour. SHIELD take notice of Spider-Man for saving New York from Electro on his own. Damage Control clean up after Electro's attack.
X-Men Days Of Future Past: The reality altering stuff could be used to explain why there are some inconsistencies with the X-Men films and the MCU ones before 2008. Trask could have bought Stark Industries (which was failing) and used it's knowledge on robotics to create the Sentinels. In a scene at Trask, concept art for Ultron could be shown.
Guardians Of The Galaxy: A Silver Surfer and Negative Zone reference would be nice.
The Avengers Age Of Ultron: After being impressed by Spider-Man and Wolverine, SHIELD recruits both (we'd have to lose SW and QS though). Ultron was created by SHIELD or the US Government in response to superhuman threats (including Mutants). This is what encourages Wolverine to join.

What do you think of these ideas?

Absolutely love this. I wish Marvel would just bring all their properties under one roof. But life isn't that simple haha

Yeah, best news I've heard on the Marvel front in a long time. I've really been more of a fan of the street-level types in Marvel than the four-color ubers anyway....been waiting for a proper DD and HFH for the longest time.

Depending on casting news, writing/directing, and setup for these shows, I might honestly be more excited about these Netflix shows in 2015 than AOU.

Oh, I missed that. I thought that there were three. Ok, a crossover then. A "reimagined" Defenders sounds interesting. I wonder what that means?

not sure if I like the idea of the Defenders consisting of those characters. And not sure if I think that a Jessica Jones series is interesting

Not really. They can connect them to MCU without mentioning Avengers ad nauseum. Introduce Jennifer Walters in Daredevil or Misty Knight in Iron Fist.

It seems like it means that these four characters will be the main/founding members.

I don't think it will keep them out of the MCU, but it would naturally preclude them from having their own solo films. Still, cameos in the MCU are now infinitely more likely, especially showing up in Avengers 3 if there's a big world-ending battle.
