I just took that to mean they are being preemptive rather than the future-viewing in MR. They're not waiting for threats to emerge but actively seeking out known dangers and neutralizing them.

Which is weird because with his shield he can land safely and without parachute.

We need to keep in mind that he is diving into water in that shot. There was a rumor a while back that a scene takes place on a boat, and pretty sure this is that scene. Yes I know that landing in water from a high distance could still kill someone, but this is Captain America after all, and landing in water versus say a wooded forest in germany is a little bit more believable right?

Also, bear in mind that the time he parachuted in Cap 1 was also the *first time he jumped out of a plane ever*, and only his second combat encounter as a super soldier. By this point, he probably has a much better idea of his capabilities and limits, so he knows when he has to use a parachute, and when he can manage without.

I'm just thinking about how many iconic moments they managed to cram into the trailer, and it's pretty awesome:

-Cap diving out of a plane sans parachute.
-Cap's line, "This isn't freedom. This is fear."
-Winter Soldier and all the carnage surrounding him.
-Cap shield slam.
-Cap in the elevator.
-Cap and his bike going after the Quinjet.
-Cap in both his Commander Rogers suit and his WWII suit.
-Falcon dogfighting the Quinjet.
-Cap and the Winter Soldier hand to hand.
-And, of course, SHIELD CATCH!

Mighty impressive for the teaser. Certainly assists the rewatchability of it.

My one and only complaint so far is his hair ..... and that's just a minor thing.

I thought the look he had in The Avengers was better. Obviously he's adjusting to modern times, but it was cool in the Avengers how he still kept some things old fashioned.

This movie is called Captain America: Return of the First Avenger here in Sweden – even without any kind of translation. So lame. And I can't see the reason.

I'm guessing it's because jumping over a heavily forested area like he did in TA at night is a bit trickier to land in than over open sea which is what it looks like in TWS. That's the best guess I can give. His jump in TFA was also over a heavily forested area but there he didn't even have his vibranium shield at the time.

I can't wait for this one, the only phase 2 movie that has me more excited is GotG. Just watched the trailer again and I can't get over how epic this looks. No qualms whatsoever with this, looks to be top notch

I agree that's a pretty clever manip. But it should read "Building a better world..."

That's weird. Maybe Bucky worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. first in the MCU. Maybe they inadvertantly gave away a spoiler in the title.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but is the building at 0:45 in the trailer the Triskelion? Looks like it to me. That could be added to this list.

BTW, awesome trailer!!

It's a good trailer. Unlike "Olympus Has Fallen", "White House Down", "G.I.Joe:Retaliation", and more you get a more optimistic feeling out of the conflict. It's good to have a clean-cut hero who doesn't make lame ass wisecracks.
