Very intriguing, I admit. (Probably an indication of a CW-based JL thing in the works rather than Amell being in a JL film.) It would be risky but cool if they could pull the latter off, but Arrow isn't bringing in HUGE numbers.

On the other hand, I noticed Eh Maybe is teasing that he'll shoot his 'exclusive' Batman vs. Superman scoop video shortly. He also posted an Instagram pic of a Superman and WW comic teasing his scoop.

To close yesterday's discussion and to make things clear and move on to the next; (Edited)

I have to say to people were talking nosense and silly things about the WE incident, not knowing what truly happened because or they didn't want to see it or can't accept the true.
The moment before Superman saves Lois, Superman was at the other side of the planet saving the entire planet risking his life due to the power decreasing..

I mean how can superman know how many people died or injured if he wasn't there being the OMNIPRESENT hero some people want him to be, If he were in Perrys situation and do nothing then he can be ashamed for not to doing nothing. Then we have the kiss each one (supes and lois) after that incident they thought they will never see each other again and lose both and that adding the adrenaline of the moment that both sufferes the kiss was inevitable but as a passion moment not for making the relationship fullfied..
And to add I guess trying to stop Zod and even take the family over him and saving them was a little thing that Superman thought in his presence no other people casualties will happen, cause as you know when someone was at risk as the oil rig people, the chopper guy, col hardy, lois lane and of course stopping the WE to stop more people getting hurt, Superman did his best... that no one can denny it...
If we wouldn't have stopped the WE and taking care of the casualties, only the casualties will be worse and no matter if Superman saved 100 guys, 1 billion will perish, and then Superman's intentions will be for nothing remember the Faora's phrase (for every human you save we'll kill a million more) but I guess not all people got that when they saw the movie

Then for me the cementery scene was a little honor to all losts from smallville and metropolis but not as much as many people claim..
I saw that leaving the thing in the air, make us think that in the sequel there'll be a day to conmmemorate the lifes lost in that day or seeing Superman saving WE casualties with its powers as maybe a flashback while at present saving other people of another disaster or conflict, or as an intro that Superman taking care of the injured people from the MOS disaster, and of course not resting the impact that DP and kid clark done to us.. and giving us a double impact to see the connections between both movies ala BB-TDK (people in danger with all arkham prisioners, destruction and panic closed in the scarecrow scene)

That whole "Superman didn't care about people" argument completely falls apart once you start pointing out all the selfless things that he did in the movie solely to help other people.

In trying to determine whether MOS was good or not, I don't think "It wasn't the Donner film" is a valid reason. I can understand people being disappointed if they felt it wasn't as good as the Donner film, but I think some people actually expected it to be the same movie and when they realized it wasn't, they declared it to be a failure.
Thank you, yes it is true. This is why I kinda hate them now because critics were just so prejudicial and forgot what the word re-imagining meant and used the Donner films as a benchmark to judge MOS. Nobody used the old 90's Batman movies to judge Nolan's Batman films. Doesn't Snyder deserve the same courtesy?

Olga Kurylenko testing for the role of Wonder Woman? The Schmoes think so.

Quote:
Hello Schmoeville!
The Phantom strikes again! That’s right ya bunch of Schmoevillians, I was just handed this exciting piece of geekery and when I looked at the words staring back at me I had to take a sip of water. It’s that hot.
Our super-scooper The Phantom (pending TM) dropped by Schmoeville to share what he is hearing on the ground level of studios and this news is something that’s been rumored for quite some time now – Wonder Woman being in the Man of Steel sequel that is. Or “When Brucy met Clarky” (another title being kicked around by the studio*.
*Warning, WB is NOT kicking around ‘When Brucy met Clarky‘.
Anywho. Let’s get to it. Here’s the word I got from The Phantom in my inbox this afternoon:

SUPERMAN VS. BATMAN (Warner Bros.): Olga Kurylenko is testing for the Wonder Woman role.

Meh. She's okay. I've only seen her in Oblivion. I don't see her as Wonder Woman though although she was great in Oblivion. I hope this isn't true.

Not feeling her as Diana. But it's just testing, so I'm not worried at all. I doubt she'll end up getting the role if Wondy's in this flick.

Now that I think about it though, I wouldn't mind it. She'd just need to fix that accent of hers because she has a really strong European accent.

I can see her playing someone like Mala or Circe in a WW film, but I can't see her as Diana that much. She definitely has a really great look for her though.

it might be something they'd want a woman who grew up 'over there' to have.

Ugh, don't want Wondy in this movie at all.

I know, I know. Unpopular opinion is unpopular.

I wish there would be a rumor that made me happy for once instead of all this Wondy and Rock as Luthor stuff.

I actually agree. I was expecting her to be saved for JL, but we'll see. These are only rumors at this point, anyway. Some more bizarre than others...
