So I finally got around to picking up Superman/Wonder Woman #1 at my LCS and the very first page hit me in the face in how strange it was to see Tony S. Daniel draw WW just like Olga Kurylenko.

Probably a coincidence, but just sayin, haha....

It would make sense too, if this movie takes some influence from Public Enemies. Metallo was a key part of that story.

I kind of hope it's true because we've never had Metallo in live action. That or it could be Lex in armor.

I hope its Metallo, be nice for an original villain and plus Lex can carry a film, that won't include a huge amount of time from the movie that exclusively deals with Batman vs Superman.

So could they be loosely adapting Public Enemies? Snyder was considering it as a title.

Well, if they are adapting Public Enemies, we could get both! Which would be AWESOME GOOD GOD TAKE MY MONEY NOW.

Public Enemies was the worst or second worst of the DCAU animated movies. For me, it is tied with Emerald Knights as the most boring.

Public Enemies was really bad. I had a tough time with Superman: Doomsday as well. I've been thinking about revisiting it but I'm a afraid to.

Yeah, why, did you think it was awful?

I thought it was ok. I may have been positively predisposed given that I saw the live action GL movie a few weeks prior, and I was still in shell shock from that experience.

I'm not sure if Superman: Doomsday is really that awful, or if many of us are simply incapable of forgiving it for not being as good as the comic it's based on. I'm thinking of revisiting it too.

For the record, from the ones I've seen:

Best:
All-Star Superman
Wonder Woman

Good:
Superman vs The Elite
Crisis on Two Earths

Intermediate/Mediocre:
First Flight
Dark Knight Returns
Superman: Doomsday
Superman/Batman: Apocalypse

Awful:
Public Enemies
Emerald Knights

Superman vs The Elite could have been my favourite, but I was let down by the ending.

I actually couldn't finish Doomsday so I can't even compare it to the comic - ha. If I remember correctly, I was having trouble with the voice acting and dialogue. Maybe I'll burn through it some lazy afternoon.

I really enjoyed Superman: Unbound, it might be my favorite. You should check it out.

That's actually insane.

Olga is friggin beautiful. She's a solid actress, maybe not the greatest but solid nonetheless. Hey, in a universe that has Cavill and Affleck...I think that would work just fine.

I still think it's possible that she's Bruce's love interest for this one movie only, based on a screentest + her past with Affleck. And not Diana.

I was always forget how much I really don't like that high collar on Supermans suit. Yuck!

Glad Snyder didn't go that route for Cavills suit in the live action films.

I've been thinking of what I'd like to see as the opening of the movie.

Something like Batman in the cave in the batsuit but with the cowl off. He's sitting in front a bunch of monitors/computer, like the computer in B:TAS. And on it is the footage and aftermath coverage of everything that went down in Metropolis. Many different news channels, video feeds, government information, etc... on several different monitors.

Hmm...weird for a Batman/Superman film. From what i remember Prof Milo was featured in Grant Morrison's run. Batman's encounter with him inspired Bats to create his backup personality(Zur En Arrh) and he also appeared in A Serious House on Serious Earth.

Olga would be a fine fit for Wonder Woman, as that comic comparison shows. I'd like to see her in the part.
