I'm loving the jacketless look; it finally has some purple on it & has a Fraction costume vibe to it.

Yeah I prefer the full sleeve look the jacket looks like it is limiting his movements.

The pics show that the jacket is probably sleeveless, so no limitation of arm mobility.

It's very plain to see here. The sleeves are the same of these of the "jacket", so it's more probably, that coat thing has no sleeves at all.

And here

if you take a close look, you can see the edges of the sleeveless shoulders.

Also, here's a video of Jeremy apparently in the very same costume greeting South Korea fans. Not sure if he's really shooting there since he's just been seen in London on the weekend and set visitors said, he'll be shooting in British woodlands these days. That video could have been taken anywhere. But we'll see.

We should have Hawkeye mention how attractive SW is at some point in the movie. It'd be a nice little nod to the comics.

Three interesting updates:

- The best explanation yet for Clint not being in Cap2 and his maybe-whereabouts before AOU

- The official Cap2 arrow necklace confirmation as a reference to Clint, around minute 3

- In this podcast, on minute 0:28, there's this quote: "Honestly it was a choice that Scarlett made as a character, and… her relationship with Hawkeye will become very clear in Avengers 2.", promising more of Clint's and Natasha's relationship, of whatever nature it might be, in Avengers 2.

I think I can give the Cap2 movie back the 0,5 points for continuity problems now...

I had noticed that lock thing too. Maybe it holds weapons/small explosives he can throw.

I think I solved the mystery behind Hawkeye shooting the Chitauri down without looking: He has arrows that are self guided. Watch the Avengers again and youll notice the one that takes out the Hellicarrier rotor wasnt aimed, it flew around and landed on the mark.

He really doesnt even need to look to shoot stuff. He can just use a heat seeking arrow. Im sure he has one in his bag of trick arrows.

Eh... the helicarrier shot I took it that he's just so good that he's able to calculate his shot according to how the wind is going to affect the arrow

My opinion is still that his 'no look rooftop shots' during the final battle he's utilizing the reflective surfaces (windows) that are prominent in a big city

I think it's much simpler than that. If you watch Renner during the final battle, his eyes are focused away from where he's pointing his bow. I think the idea is that he spots his target from a distance, quickly calculates their trajectory and moves on to the next one. Then he simply fires at the spot he knows the glider will end up (or at least, to the best of his ability to estimate).

^^ Yeah it probably was just the fact he timed it really well or saw the reflection in another building and shot it.

Having "guided" arrows takes away from Hawkeye's most awe-inspiring skill... his aim. Leave the tech-enhanced guided missiles to the likes of Iron Man. With Hawkeye, it's all about skill.

Shooting a moving target is never about aiming at the target. It's about shooting into where the target will be at the point of impact between arrow and target. The endlessly argued about "blind shot" is nothing but a calculation of said trajectory. (I remember there was one poster in particular that would harp on incessantly on this one point, though I don't remember his/her name.)

Even rookie marksmen make these mental calculations intuitively and subconsciously. The more experienced a marksman gets, the better his muscle memory becomes at calculating all these variables without requiring conscious thought. Considering Hawkeye is many orders of magnitude better than the average archer, that was a makeable shot for him.

It'd be pretty cool if we got a comic similar to the Avengers lead in ones that showed what Hawkeye had been doing
