The most humorous of his films would be The Dark Knight me thinks.

Anyway, they are filming at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel IN L.A till Tuesday.
They are using the interior and installing props to help transform the hotel into a engine room.

The Hotel does look futuristic. Almost in a 70's way which is a plus.

My favourite 'off the cuff' joke from Nolan was the on-set Empire interview for TDKR, when Oldman exclaimed "I can't believe this is the last time I'm going to do this" and Nolan replied "That's unless you whore your ass out for Batman 4". I laughed.

I've seen a few interviews with crew members that give the impression that Nolan is a very funny guy.

Story behind the filming at the Weston Bonaventure hotel. Article also says the LA Convention Center and Altadena, CA will be next stops for filming in December.

i'd say most of Nolan's films have a decent bit of humor, to be honest, it's just that Nolan's sense of humor is exceptionally dry. which i appreciate, but for some that equals them feeling like there's no humor at all.

of course, the Joker is the opposite of a dry character, which is probably part of why he'd be a lot of people's favorite character in a Nolan movie (along with Ledger's exceptional performance). it's one of the reasons that TDK is so good. it has built-in self-criticism through the Joker character, who makes a mockery of the very idea of being serious and of systematic tendencies towards control that Nolan would probably admit he's partial to.

I wonder if it's going to be similar to the Inception teaser in tone.

It'll probably be similar but this will be 30 seconds longer. So more footage!

You know, I haven't been following Interstellar too closely in an effort to avoid spoilers (And lets face it, you never learn much wuth a Nolan production anyway)... but now that they're releasing a teaser, my interest will perk up a bit.

Nolan post-Batman. Let's see what he does.

Wowa. That is of reasonable length. Maybe it won't be an uneventful teaser like Inception's and TDKR's.

Usually the trailer gets classified a week or two before its release. I'm gonna guess it'll be attached to The Hobbit.
