Unless I'm missing something isn't that illegal contact regardless if it was uncatchable.

Well, so am I!
![]() Seriously, this loss is frustrating. Our defense couldn't stop Cam and Ridley's fumble was super costly. Overall, dissapointing game with its great moments from Brady though. Well, let's crush those Broncos Sunday Night. |

My heart sank when I saw that yellow flag.

Man, that was one HELL of a game. Carolina proved that they are bonafide playoff contenders. The two New Orleans/Carolina games we'll be seeing in the upcoming weeks will be on fire. One of them needs to be flexed on SNF.
And uh, after seeing it just now over and over, it looks like New England got screwed.

Luke was just expressing his joy of playing against a legend, and just couldn't wait to hug--hold--hug him. ![]() I'm a fan, Carolina won. 7-3. Playoffs baby. On the other hold, New England and their fans are gonna be pissed. But I'm sure Raiders fans are lol. ![]()

Wait so that isn't holding because it's an uncatchable ball? I'm pretty sure I've seen officials throw a flag for the same thing on the opposite side of the field before.

It wasn't illegal contact. Actually, it looked like pass interference, unless someone with better football knowledge can educate me.

![]() I never see yellow flags in Madden...I'm sure I could fix that, but I'm not insane. ![]()

It can't be pass interference if the ball is uncatchable.

REFBALL REFBALL REFBALL REFBALL REFBALL
That was clearly pass interference. Refs have it in for the Pats this year. |

I was so happy when the flag was thrown. Then I saw the Panthers cheering again.

As long as it's in the field of play it's catchable. Gronk was right there he couldn't come back because the guy was holding him. It was clearly pass interference.

I don't buy that it was uncatchable. Gronkowski could have ran up there and caught it.

It is illegal contact and should have been a call if the ball was catchable or not.

It was uncatchable because the Carolina Defender was holding Gronk.

I think because Lester was in front of Gronk/Kuechly when he caught the ball, then it doesn't matter. The ball wasn't catchable. I could be wrong though.

I wouldn't be surprised. If you were to tell me last year that instead of it being Falcons/Saints competing for the division, it'd be Panthers/Saints, I'd slap the hell out of you.

It was uncatchable. Groff ain't Superman. Kechley had the better position, but Kechley definitely interfered with that bear hug.
