I was thinking about how if Anne Hatheway could come back as Catwoman in the Affleck Bat flick. I know I'm about to get flamed for suggesting that, but I think it could be similar to Judi Dench being M through the Brosnan and Craig Bond franchises. Hatheway apparently teared up hoping she would get to return to the character. Nolan's still producing. I think it could be great.

There was probably a better chance of Bale coming back for this film than Hathaway coming back. I could see no reason to bring her back with a whole new batman cast, since she was so tied into the Bale Bruce Wayne.

It would just seem out of place to bring Hatahway back, considering how they seem to be trying their best to differentiate the Affleck Batman from the Bale one. As good as Anne was/is, I don't think it really works brining her back to a completely new and different franchise/continuity/universe, etc.

They should keep BatFleck's Selina Kyle more or less in the same wheelhouse as Hathaway's was. Charming, skilled and mercurial.

Meh...I want a new Catwoman. Seriously...I'm ready to leave the Nolan trilogies behind. I like those three self-contained stories being in their own universe. I get that fans want them back and all aspects within, but it's time to move on.

*Anne Hatheway has no impact at all as catwoman. No idea why bruce would fell for her.

Boys, boys! Is that Kryptonite in your trunks or are you happy to see each other?

It doesn't matter which Selina was better, because in both cases Bruce got it on with them.

Is the Batman universe that small that they have to use Selina Kyle again?

I'd rather them give another female character a shot. (In this movie at least.)

Personally, I think someone like "Sasha Bordeaux" would work better if they had to have a female lead for Batman (that had a possible romantic connection of some sort with him if needed).

She has legitimate ties with "Checkmate", which would only help expand the growing DC Universe within the near future, and she can easily fit in with Bruce when he supposedly arrives in Metropolis for supposed business matters since she served as his bodyguard in the comics (while having feelings for him as well).

And if they did pick her, I'd like to have someone like Paula Patton to play the role.

Sasha Bordeaux ties in nicely if they're setting up a JL movie with Max Lord, OMACs and Waller

Agreed 100%.

In some ways I am thankful for both BR and B&R. They helped to get us Batman Begins, and i consider BB the best live action version av Batman ever done, and one of the best films done in the superhero genre.

That said, while i think Pfeiffer is a bit overrated in that film, she still is one of the few aspects of that film that I still enjoy on some level. Even if the character is a bit silly in it.

Yeah, she's okay in it, I just don't think she's SO JAW-DROPPINGLY BRILLIANT that no one could ever compare to her (even though I've heard people say this at times). I remember hearing that she thought she should have won an Oscar for that performance. I don't know what she was smoking, but it must have been some good sh**.

The funny thing about the old Batman series was that each sequel was progressively worse that its predecessor, so much so that people forgot how bad the previous one with each new installment. Batman was pretty good, except that it annoyingly minimized its main character simply because 1. Jack Nicholson was a huge name and 2. the Joker is designed to steal the show. Thus they gave him maximum screen time. It's a shame really, because Keaton really does shine as Batman and Bruce Wayne, yet he isn't given enough to work with. Still, the film is pretty solid.

BR was a mess of a film that FURTHER minimized its main character and introduced stupid supernatural elements into the story, thus killing any semblance of realism that the series might have had.

BF was a whimsical joke of a movie, chock full of cheap looking sets, bad performances and horrible costumes (cockpieces and nipples!). Batman strangely seemed to finally be the central focus of the story for once (despite an overabundance of other characters) so maybe that's why the series was able to stay afloat for one more sequel.

And then of course you had B&R and the sh** REALLY hit the fan. Aaaaand it was time to press the reboot button.

I think it's been long due to move away from that character and see some other female characters brought to life from the Batman mythos.

Selina would only be used in a cameo because Batman is in his 40s. He's probably met almost every classic rogue at least once. People will be wondering where Two Face is in this universe, Joker, Catwoman. So a reference or a cameo wouldn't hurt.

Sasha Bordeaux or Silver St Cloud could be used. Sarah Essen. Barbara Gordon. Harley Quinn. There's your female characters. I seriously doubt Poison Ivy or Lady Shiva will be used though.

Question. When the movie starts, do you want to see Bruce Wayne first, or Batman in all his glory?

The movie needs to start with an action sequence, MoS kind of did, as did all the Nolan films.

I think an opening sequence of Batman finishing off Mr. Freeze or someone like that could work well.

^My ideal scenario would be for Superman to have the opening action sequence (would also help establish him as a hero saving people). Then we see Bruce Wayne, first as the playboy, but hints making it clear that there's a dark mystery to this man (subtle hints to his alter ego, like Alfred making a comment or perhaps some new Wayne Tech, would be great at building anticipation). Then Batman should have a great reveal, with a scene that will blow everyone's mind. Snyder can do that.

Cinema Sins just posted their "Everything Wrong With Man Of Steel In 8 Minutes Or Less."

Most of it is lame, but this complaint was one that stood out to me when I first viewed the film:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=P1Cl5FzEIjY#t=40 8

Why is Lois falling downwards when giant, heavy pieces of debris all around her are being sucked upwards?

That shot was stupid. Lois should be dead.
