The first thing I ever saw him in was Meet the Deedles.

R.I.P.,It'll be weird when the film starts promotion and the film itself will probably have to edit or delete some of his scenes if they include Brian in car wrecks..Which is pretty likely,Will be hard for the writers to come up with how they wrote him off since they can't just say Brian died in a vehicle related accident or was killed in such a horrible way

It's hard to write him off period because he's such a big character in the franchise.

I'm sure they could do more movies but it's a matter of will they do more. I think right now it's much too fresh with Walker's death for them to make any decsions on it.

There's a lot to be considered and a lot to be decided on. The series doesn't need him although it will certainly be obviously different without him.

What ultimately ends up happening as far as continuing the franchise won't be decided for a long time, possibly not until they release this movie. Going to Eight won't be easy in any event if it occurs.

Joy Ride was the first film I saw him in, still one of my favorite little horror/thriller films.

Does anyone picture a change in the promotion for other car action films such as Need for Speed?

I wouldn't bet on it. Things will continue how they were, no matter how big the tragedy is. It sucks, but people move on. I wish Hollywood would take into account how fragile life is, when something like this happens. But they are only in this for the money. They will still promote FF7 with big car crash/chase scenes. Heck, I JUST seen a commercial promoting Fast and Furious 6. I mean, we should celebrate Walker's work and life. Every cast member loved this franchise.

The fate of FF7 is the furthest thing on my mind now, because we just lost a talented actor who is only 40 years old and was known for being a good guy in Hollywood. Such a terrible loss.

I think the main think Walker would want from us is to enjoy ourselves in eight or so months time when the film is out.

Definitely a sad coincidence he died in a car crash going at high speeds, at least according to police reports.

If anything in a way this may encourage people to be a little more responsible when driving, perhaps the target demo of the fast films actually. Seeing the way some people take off in their cars after a showing of Fast and the furious is pretty unnerving sometimes.

Wow.

R.I.P. Paul Walker

The guy actually volunteered doing research on Sharks as well. His presence in the Fast and Furious films will be missed.

So sad.

Agreed; the film will likely be scrapped, or rewritten to have Brian die off-screen. As much as I may enjoy some folks' work, their lives are far more important. When a public figure dies, those who focus more on their last project are truly missing the point.

Scrapped? No not at all. Very tragic shocking death. I wasn't a fan of him as an actor because he was terrible up until Furious 6. I thought he was great in it and I always liked listening to him in interviews, he seemed like a great guy. I don't think theyll change the movie In any way and I don't think they'll change the way its promoted nor should they. Alas very tragic and sad.

I think it had a different name here but this is where I first saw him as well, the truck driver Rusty Nail was one of Abrams earliest nods to Spielberg.

The movie won't be scrapped. They showed Ledger in a body bag in TDK and his death happened fairly close to the premiere as well,

Since it appears Brian is on Hobbs team now, I can see them doing a scene with body doubles where he takes a bullet for him and he doesn't get up. Then just a silent montage of Dom telling Mia and she breaks down.

They will kill the character, just not with a car crash.
