i lol'd. But really I don't understand how people can see that and not think it's cheesy as hell.

i GET that it's iconic/classic, but i prefer they don't use the spin

That's what i mean when i say apropiate for Wonder Woman. I want here first transformation to be elaberate. I wan here to spin and summon here clothes but i don't want the costume to just pop on instant. I want it to be epic with lots of Visual Effects to accompany it(only for the first or second time).

Here is another costume pic I found of Wonder Woman.

I'd prefer no spin. It just doesn't seem to fit the tone of Man of Steel.

I would be happy with a costume like that, particularly the battle skirt. I just don't want pants as they look out of character to her heritage. This version looks almost Spartan or Greek.

I don't think WW should use words like "peeved" though. That sounds too much like the kind of vocabulary someone living in the western world would use.

I'd prefer no skirt at all if it were that short. Besides, why blue, why not the star-spangled type?

Wonder Woman with battle skirt, golden armored corset, with shoulder guards. It would be cool if Wonder Woman rocked mulipule looks over the course of all her appearances.

^ See what I mean? Have the skirt cover pretty much everything, or just have the shorts. I like the upper armor, and her hair, though

I'm down with that. But I know some people are against it because it shows off the clichť of a woman with a large wardrobe...

I mean seriously. If Ironman, Captain America, Thor, and Batman can do it then so can Wonder Woman.

As long as her various looks aren't swimsuit related, then that's cool.

It's fine in the context of a more lighthearted cartoon series that isn't trying to be a huge epic, but in a live action movie I want the portrayals to be taken seriously in a poetic sense, and shed anything that comes off as cheesy.

These are our modern mythological icons, so let's try to embarrass them a little less than we have been in the past.

I love that second pic, just give her a "battle skirt" instead.

the suit should be functional like an armor, not like someone will wear for a bikini photoshoot or not something that just looks good and flashy.

Lol, so you're basically saying the costume isn't iconic and should be changed, yet the spin is iconic and should be used?

I've realized I agree with you on very few things. We have very different opinions on how WW should be portrayed.
