I hope they don't do as some suggested and have trask be secretly Apocalypse.

I would love it if the efforts to stop Mystique In DOFP Awakens Apocalypse similar to X-Men #41.Even If they don't adopt age of Apocalypse it would be nice homage to lead up to AoA.

July 18, 2013:

Quote:
Apocalypse to Have Major Role in Future X-Men Movies, Will He Show Up in Days of Future Past?

A source close to Fox had this to say.

"He's definitely a big part of Fox's whole plan for a big X-Men universe with spin-off movies. The Avengers really is the template here

Will he show up in Days Of Future Past?

"I won't say too much about that. You'll just have to wait and see."

Director Bryan Singer has played coy with the idea in the past, hinting that the 5,000-year-old human mutant may show up in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. The X-Men universe easily houses some of Marvel's best and most notable characters. Maybe Fox finally woke up and realized what it has in its hands.

AOA was around the time I got into comics. Sounds cool but I have too many things i want to see that I know will be butchered or bastardized. So I will just turn my brain off just to see apocalypse and maybe sinister on screen finally will be great.

They may not be doing Age of Apocalypse. He's potentially a big enough threat on his own without resorting to an alternate reality storyline.

I'm thinking this too. No AOA, just The Four Horsemen and a scrimmage between the big guy and the X-Men.

I agree with this. A mixture of both would be fine. I would prefer an actor is there be in the flesh with makeup and prosthetics.

I could go for a four horsemen battle. So I wonder if they will bring back angel and go down that path. With him as death.

Why do I think of 300's Xerxes when I think of how they should do Apocalypse?

Apocalypse being a shapeshifter makes it easier to cast him. Pick a style for him and just say it is his preference at the moment.

Angel HAS to return now!

more than ever.

Marvel has Falcon now, so Fox needs the best of them all: Archangel!

and Ben Foster is one of the best young actors in USA, they cant miss the chance

I wanna see some ancient Egypt. With the cool sci fi tech Lazarus chamber. Might look like the one in stargate.

If they want Archangel, be sure they will go with Ben Foster, he's too good of an actor to let him go.

When he was signed for X3, something told me Ratner signed him not only because of Angel, but because he knew Ben would nail the dark side of the character.

And Im sure the producers knew that too back in the day. Now this seems more likely than ever

If angel showed up again he could be recast just as I think Gambit could be recast. We know Singer wants to Include Gambit In future films.

Angel was a throwaway character in x3. He cried, jumped out a window, saved his dad, and went to the x-mansion. They weren't thinking that far ahead. Or else they wouldn't have killed cyclops and jean. Or used the Phoenix as jeans innate power. I bet fox is wishing they didn't use the Phoenix now. They could catch up to marvel studios with their own cosmic story. The Shi'ar and the Phoenix would have been good. Seeing gladiator would be cool.

I wonder how close Apocalypse is going to be to his comic book counterpart. Will he look like he stepped off the page or will Singer redesign him a little bit and change certain things about him. All the way back from X-Men in 2000, Singer hasn't been afraid to take liberties with the characters (both small and big). I'm very interested in seeing his take on the character and how he incorporates him into this version of the X-Men mythoes.

I wonder if Apocalypse's appearance would be a cause and effect senario with the whole time travel aspect of DOFP???....Either way I can't wait! I have a feeling he'll be the main bad guy to face Xavier's true X-Men team (hope for young Scott, Jean, Storm), and Mystique may end up working for him ala TAS...and I'd hope the eye of ages will play a factor so that way he'll be sent hurling through time to face X-Factor in the 1st movie or a sequel. Let's be real you can't have the grandfather of all mutants in 1 movie!!!!

That reminds me how terrible singer's x-men looked. Not to mention the other directors x-men as well. Reality just sunk in. I am now not as excited. I remember how these movies are done. A cool sequence here and there but overall not good.
