That reminds me, if it weren't for SHH, I don't think I'd know about half of all the nerdy B-movies out there.

Denzel as Lex. The amount of intimidation he would bring to the role would be insane.

Hate Denzel as Lex. I know he's Denzel, but come on. And people bag on Affleck as Batman and only seeing Affleck. With Denzel, you don't see Lex. You see Denzel Washington, just like in every single one of this movies he ever created.

If they were to look for a black Lex, how about Cuba Gooding JR?

Always loved and respected what he brought to table in his films.

Terrance Howard should ask for an audition out of spite.

Hey, I like that!

I don't think I want Lex in this film, but I do hope to see him at some point and he could be good. I didn't think of him before, but he could be interesting.

Unfortunatly, Lawerence Fishburne would have made a great Lex. He's played bald before, he can be imposing, cunning, ruthless, wise, and cool all at the same time. Oh well, he'll have to settle for Perry...

If they do indeed go African American, CGJR tops my list for sure as a frontrunner. He can play any role and has some insane talent with his ability to act. People say Lex is somewhat of a charmer. RGJR can be funny, witty, charming and ruthless if need-be. He could nail Lex and has the credentials.

Yeah, he could do it. I think charm is an important aspect of Lex because he needs something to hide his evil behind. CGJr has that. He can be intense too.

I'm only supporting the black guys we're presented with, apparently.

And my support, if things are true, is for Denzel!

I still say Jason Clarke would be perfect for Lex.

Just look at that stone cold demeanor and ice dagger eyes. That's Lex.

If they're looking at Callan Mulvey 0Dark30 then they've probably seen Clarke's performance in that film.

I hope he's at least on their radar.

Same age as Affleck

Jason Clarke is a good actor but better suited to a character like Metallo IMO, more blue collar and physical.

Would add some more depth to his character.

And we wouldn't need a Nolan explanation for Lex being bald if it was Den. Black folk rock the bald look!

I disagree. I think he could play white collar fine and I think the fact that he has a naturally blue collar look lends greatly to the character.

Luthor is both a billionaire and a genius, but underneath all of that charm he's a brutal thug.

If they could get him he'd be great.

Although I'm not sure about his american accent after Tomb Raider.

Denzel would have definitely been a bad ass Lex. So would Idris. Chiwetel is the only other black actor they should consider. Otherwise they should look to get McConaghey or Pitt! They need to get a big name actor for Lex.

Actually now that I think about it Craig's american accent in Road to Perdition was good.

Loki wasn't a big name actor and look at how well received he's been.
