Jean, Scott and Ororo are teenagers in 80's and they're in late 30's in TLS.
They're around 50 in 2023.
If X-Men: Apocalypse is in 80's Scott, Jean and Ororo can be in movie.

Agreed, he should've waited til after. Hopefully Dofp and apocalypse are like part 1 and part 2 are a saga. I like the idea of them being back to back.

So if Xmen:Apocalypse is mostly focused on FC,nthey should focus on recruiting students like Jubilee, Magma, Spike along with Havok/Banshee/Beast

Jubilee wasn't even born in 70's or 80's. She was in X2 as teenager.

Not necessarily. All things are possible with concepts like this. For example, in the new Star Trek films, both Spock and Spock Prime (Nimoy's version) coexist in the same panel of reality due to the latter's time displacement. So who knows what they will come up with. Let's just hope it makes sense.

I still don't think its a reset, it's just part of the FC trilogy which I think will play with time abit

Exactly. If handled correctly and sensibly, they can come up with any way to reintroduce those characters in a new timeline that makes sense.

i think FOX would be restricting themselves if they made this a reset, because then if they ever wanted to use iceman, kitty or rogue for a certain story even if its not all of them but 1 of them, they would be in a complicated situation and i would be surprise if they would wanna do that to themselves when they don't have too

as for hugh jackman he sounds like he may be getting abit more picky when or if he plays wolverine again

If its the FC cast, I dont think it means reset it means Singer thinks they deserve a trilogy and Apocalypse is just starting out there.the title confuses me though.

Don't care 21 sec or min, she was there.
Also we don't need fireworks. There are mutants with more interesting powers.

If they've made it so that Logan is sent to a time that's already an alternate timeline to begin with (not that this would be revealed right away), then the younger mutants could already exist there.

All evidance Is pointing to A star Trek 2009 like situation.Everything Is leading to that. The rumored ending+FC only Cast In Apocalypse.

I have already seen this happen with other franchises and haven't liked the results

Why Fox didn't despense with all this time traveling nonesense and just reboot Is beyond me.

Studios aren't even pretending to take a break after films they now say never happened. We have gone from 8 years In between Batman & Robin and Batman Begins,7 years In between Superman returns and Man of steel,5 years between Hulk and The Incredible hulk and SPider-man 3 and The amazing Spider-man to 1 year after The wolverine the X-Men universe destroyed and 2 years later reboot to rebooting batman 3 years after the Dark Knight rises.

Studios are going to make it easy on My entertainment budget with all these reboots.

Yeah, Logan sent to 1973 creates Village of the Damned, tell me more. Suddenly all mutants will born earlier.

You want it to be even more a ripoff of abrams Star Trek than it already is

I love the FC cast but I need to see how DoFP turns out in order to decide how I feel about Singer/Kinberg combo at the helm again.

I agree with the sentiment that all this announcement stuff could have waited until DoFP was in the cinemas, at least. This feels like trying to stomp on the other studios' thunder with whatever's at hand, to be honest.

I wonder how they're going to resolve the future stuff in DoFP now, without making the continuing story in the past redundant. Any kind of resolution means you know how it all works out in the end.

Yeah, I think its also (and more importantly) to create additional buzz for DOFP but I agree. Fox has done this a few times recently.

God forbid someone has a different oporion. The studios aren't even pretending to take a hituas anymore after films studios now say didn't happen. That's what a reboot does.

What are some of you going to do after APocalypse If FC cast doesn't resign and they reboot again after the likely time travel reboot In DOFP?

Fox could very well can X-force to focus on X-Men reboot if that sceniro happens.

I maintain when studios play reboot they need to scrap everyone who was Involved In films.

You just keep repeating the same thing over and over. I think people got the point you hate reboots the first, second and third time you went on rants.

In 1979, Scott is a senior in high school (17 or 18 years old). That makes his DOB 1960/61. X3 was 2013 so he died at age 52/53. In a film set in the 80s he'd be in his late 20s.
