I posted this in the Batsuit thread as well, but thought I should share here as well.

The original source was a DC Online promo image. I don't like this as much as the last one BA and I did collaborated on, but what can you do.

I shared it on our Google Plus, Facebook and Twitter pages and sourced you.
I appreciate the shares! Thanks! And yeah, I actually have quit a few typographic variants of the poster. I just wanted to share the decked out, "full" version so to speak that had a credit block, the production logos, title branding, etc. Also, my intent with the "full" version of the movie poster was to actually try to make it look like a comic book cover

I'll post up a couple other variants I did when I get home

[edit] Here are some variants:

Cyanotype teaser variant with character logos

Sepia teaser variant without character logos

Sepia-Blue clean variant

[edit 2] Once we get a confirmed Luthor, I'll add him to this poster somehow, along with Amy Adams and whoever else gets cast

Some people in the Twitterverse are saying this is a terrible photoshop job, but I actually think it is pretty good.

They only think it's terrible because they know it's fake.

It's not terrible, maybe could have been blurred a little more because if you notice the guy in the back ground is really out of focus.

Thank you, sir! Whatever differences we may have with views on how Wonder Woman should be approached on film, there's still mutual respect because I've always loved your WW manips

Great work, really love these. I'm hoping that ww's costume will be something close to that. Only small nit pick would be what someone else already mentioned, that cavill's head looks a little too small for the body.

^ If it doesn't take too much of your time, will you 'colorize' the pic? I just imagine this bright blue and red for Superman, and a regal red and gold for WW.

But yeah, looks like a Mondo poster. MONDO should do the official posters you see at theater walls. Or you should

I initially tried to color match the source images to where it looked natural. That's typically the first thing I do with every manip, but in this case it ended up being a frustrating process due to the quality/resolution difference between the source images (especially the Gal Gadot photograph, which was completely washed out). So rather than color match and work from there, I opted to desaturate everything to make the process easier to manip and have it look decent.

If I have the time, I'll get around to doing a full-color variant (especially if I can source a better quality image of Gal that blends well with the concept art), but ultimately I decided to stick with exploring mono/duo/tri tone color palettes to give it the alternative "Mondo" variant poster feel.

The Wayne logo should be more blurry than that since it's in the background.

Thanks. here are the cleaned up, "final" versions of the teaser design that I exported just now, in the original and sepia blue variants:

[edit]
Updated this post with proper files. I think I'm done exporting variants for today, haha.

Fantastic job! All are great, but I really like the middle (yellowish) one.

Love the art teagone

Whatever the hold ups and questions about the story ... you put a poster with those 3 characters together and no matter what's been said so far ... you'll get people right in the 'feels' ... the exact same thing will happen when the trailers hits.

Thanks so much. But gotta give credit to the artists who provided me with such great source material to work with too. I just smashed their art together in Photoshop/InDesign to make a poster that I hoped would amp up the fans, haha. Glad you all dig the poster manips. Cheers
