No different than discussion on someone's idea.

If you view it that way, there is less raging involved.

The difference is we are saying what we think...these rumor mongers are trying to put their opinions out there as fact.

You do realize they were changed to fit the tone of the movie? Never ceases to blow my mind when people expect a cinematic comic book, and fail to understand that their story had a tone and idea behind it.
Yeah because nobody would want that. I hate that WB feels they need to add hyper realism to these characters in order for audiences to accept them.

It's not always for the audience acceptance. Sometimes it's a matter of presenting something new, or presenting the mythology in a different way. I'd argue the change in bond after all these decades isn't for audience acceptance but rather a creative effort in the vain of freshness.

Still, too much overreaction to this stuff imo.

You would think these threads were about senate policy and such.

It's too one piece for my taste, I'd rather armor be designed closer to this:

(not my manip, just did a simple google search, and yes...I know it's Hippolyta, but imagine that for Wonder Woman in her own colours).

Joker, Two-face and Catwoman are A-list. As are Penguin and the Riddler. Batman's most iconic rogues make the A-list I'd say.

B-list starts with Scarecrow, R'as, Talia, Freeze, Bane, Mad Hatter and maybe Poison Ivy. C-list I'd say are Killer Croc, Man Bat, Clayface and then things plunge down heavily.

Iron Monger is an Iron Man A-Lister, right behind the Mandarin and Whiplash. Hammer is a B-lister just like Unicorn and the Ghost and what have you.

Thor A-listers are Surtur Loki, Enchantress, Karnilla and Hela. B-Listers are Malekith, The Executioner, Kurse and Lorelei. C-Listers are the Wrecking Crew, the Enchanters and so on.

Wondy doesn't need all "Alist villains", just well written ones. Then we have the issue of the "Frost Giants" magical creatures in the comics right? No reason why gods can't be similar.
And Asgard and Krypton are as different as night and day. No were in MOS is it established that Kryptonian science even reaches what Thor called "...the same as magic" in the movie. And if it did, it would suck as much as WW being Kryptonian. Kryptonians weren't supposed to be Gods and should not display a powerlevel or "advanced technology" of that kind. Because then, them being destroyed would make even less sense than it does now.

If it works in Troy, it could work in the Odyssey. Creative writing can solve all those problems ... Pertaining to your idea of how the Odyssey needs to go down, the Cyclops doesn't need to involve a giant guy with a birth defect, how's a tall man with one eye.
Lamest... Odyssey... ever. i'd at least go with the birth defect.

Curious, but do you classify "mxyplyzyk" is magic? That thunderbolt on jsa as well, what are your thoughts?
Jupp, I'd say they are magic. I'm not opposed to this whole "magic is just really really really advanced science" talk. I'm opposed to WW being a Kryptonian descendant, especially when Krypton was not depicted as that really really really advanced.

No offense but I like the other one by far. maybe without the spikes and with a modification of the helmet/putting the tiara. the suit looks awesome

The problems are a lot more than simply spikes and helmet. The whole artwork is basically segmented armor pieces which I think makes no sense for Wonder Woman's design. It screams too much "sex" and not enough "badass."

Furthermore, the one piece red jumpsuit with the gold segments looks horrible without the classic blue something to balance it out (a battle skirt would be nice).

Don't agree. if you take out the heels, the piercing, and the spikes, adding the tiara or modifing the helmet.
Actually it has blue but darker at the back of the suit.
I see this more discreet than the classic Wonder Woman suit where almost all Wondy's body is without cover.
And IMO with the ideal modifications this will scream badass as any other.

Hoping for something like the War design but with the single cloth from flash point.

I rank by universe and general audience awareness, you seemingly rank by how relevant they are within said characters world. For example wolverine has a bunch of wolverine relevant villains, very few of which I consider A list villains. The more relevant the hero... We'll disagree about the listers.

Never said Kryptonian science needs to be magical or super advanced.
I said that you can have non terrestrials, such as new gods or something similar however, be at that level! You can have creatures from parallel dimensions such as mxyplyzyk(in canon) be at that level.

Hair brained super power? I simply suggested this Cheeta lady can derive from all sorts of grounded meta equivalents in pop culture even, especially given the dna based birthing chambers and sheer amount of time at play. I would go so far as accepting a cheetah's dna falls into a birthing pod by accident (Cronenberg style). I don't need super science/magic to explain manbat or the various gene spliced shape changers in spiderman. Same deal here. Is all that much lost if she isn't some divine enchantment of a villain?

A giant man with a missing eye, would be how Wolfgang could do it was my point to answer your question. Very simple

I think the scifi magic in this movie would suffice imo

you don't need raw greek mytholgy as is to pull off/do justice to wondy's fantasy element. but that's me.
I can see the costume being some variant on this btw

No, those are simple things that do nothing to improve the costume. The fundamental problems are still there, with the segmenting of the armor and the terrible colour combination. As for the blue, that's not blue, that's almost gray at the back of the costume.

And I disagree, it doesn't look discreet at all, it still looks like a one piece costume and the breasts are still exposed. That to me emphasizes sex appeal than practicality. I'd want more practicality in the sense that armor is put around vital areas (let's be serious, vulnerable or invulnerable, who fights with their cleavage exposed?). Wonder Woman is a part warrior after all...and she should look that way, not a lingerie model.
