Is it me or if Ford accepted the role of Grant, it would be super iconic today?

Of course he's a much bigger star than Sam Neill, but I don't think it would have been as iconic as Indiana Jones or Han Solo. The real stars of Jurassic Park are the dinosaurs, as they should be.

It's really not bizarre or ridiculous at all. Because if it's happening, it's happening. And no amount of you wishing or wanting something else to happen would change it. That's the more bizarre or ridiculous part basically, you wanting something that won't happen. A fans dream or idea in their head. That's my view at least

He was alright. I just enjoyed Sarah and Ian more. He was easily my third favorite from that film though

So he can kill more people indirectly, haha? Seriously he was the catalyst of all the deaths and destruction in TLW. They should've just killed him since he doesn't even show up in the third act.

I am betting deep down inside that Universal hopes this movie is successful enough to start a new franchise.

I would go to this film if he showed up and immediately got ripped apart by raptors.

And before he started doing crappy movies.

His last good film was Wedding Crashers.

this. someone mentioned bringing back the kids grown up, that'd be interesting.

1. Let loose the dinosaurs in the InGen camp destroying all of their equipment.

2. Brought back the baby tyrannosaur to their trailer resulting in the destruction of the trailer, death of Eddie, and near deaths of the rest of his team when the parents came after it.

3. Stole Roland's bullets so he couldn't kill the tyrannosaur when it was rampaging through their camp later in the film (as a result of it tracking them because of what he did in #2) resulting in the deaths of pretty much everyone on the island.

He (along with Sarah) set the animals loose at the hunters' camp, and while they may not have killed anyone, they destroyed all the communications equipment, stranding them.

He was responsible for bringing the baby T-rex back to the trailer, which ultimately brought the adult rexes right to them, destroying the trailer (along with their own communications equipment) and killing Eddie.

Finally, he replaced the bullets in Roland's gun with empty shells. When the T-Rexes found the hunters' camp, Roland could have killed them and prevented them from killing some of the hunters and chasing the rest into the raptor-infested field.

So yeah, Nick is responsible for pretty much every death that happened on the island, with the exception of the German guy that got killed by the little compys.

EDIT: Ha, Kahran Ramsus beat me to it by seconds.

Roland and Ajay broke it's leg after they found it in the Rex nest. Then they layed it out tied down to the ground with those spikes. They sat in the tree waiting for the adult to come.

Roland Tembo... talk about an ingenious original addition to an adaptation.

He was almost like a more fleshed out version of Muldoon from the first film. It's like they said "That character was great. If only there was a way to bring him back in some way for the sequel."

Sort of. She told Nick it was a bad idea, but didn't really do anything to stop him.
