Good point.

I think Yoda and Obi Wan both knew Luke would bring balance to the force which is why they gave their final moments toward saving/teaching Luke.

I don't know even where to begin with this poll.

Mark Hamill hasn't been a lead in a movie in years, Carrie fisher was eaten by this thing that took her name now. Harrison Ford has phoned it in since What Lies beneath.

And they trained him to be a killing machine, not to win through his love for his dad. Luke proved them both wrong. They wisely put their faith in him, but for the wrong reasons. They got lucky.

It don't matter. Luke, Leia and Han matter. And since they're those characters...

They mostly focused on Luke learning how to trust in the force and him resisting the dark side. Especially Yoda's training.

That was central to his jedi training and what helped Luke figure out his father could be saved.

Even in RotJ, Ben replied "Then the Emperor has already won" when Luke told him he couldn't kill his own father. They didn't guide him towards empathy and love, they basically tried to tell him "Don't go against Vader when you're angry. Calm down and THEN kill the f**ker".

You know how some people made fun of the Star Trek crews for being like 60+ and pretending they're still action stars? I'm just worried about how the old Star Wars trio is going to come across on screen. I'm not trying to be mean, but I saw a recent picture of Carrie Fisher the other day and I was like....hmmm....
