If I remember correctly it was their childhood way to flip someone off without flipping someone off.

Miller is a mystery. He has done both some of the best stuff ever, and some of the worst.

Because WB's goal isn't keeping up with the sheer amount of movies Marvel is putting out. They are putting out DC movies while putting out Godzilla, Lego, Gravity...stuff like that.

lol thanks for that. I thought they only did that in that one episode. I didn't realise it was a recurring gimmick throughout the series.

Bad news? Ben Affleck has broken ribs, the film is pushed back a year. How much more bad news could he get?

What we should get is who will play Lex and the Batfleck Batsuit standing with Cav-El's Superman suit.

I'm fairly certain that The Dark Knight Strikes Again was Frank Miller's intentional satire of his own deconstruction of the mythology. He never wanted to make a sequel to The Dark Knight Returns, but people kept offering him money to do so. It still wasn't very good, but there was a method to his madness.

Maybe the bad news is that Cavill has dropped out and has been replaced by Affleck as Superman.

It certainly seemed more parody than anything else. Had some cool elements (I liked how they did Flash), but altogether felt like an angry joke.
