While some of the cast worked the entire time, others only spent a few days on set. Here’s what some of the cast worked: Anna Paquin (5 days), Patrick Stewart (3 weeks), Ian McKellen (3 weeks), Halle Berry (7 days), Shawn Ashmore (a few weeks), Ellen Page (3 weeks). Keep in mind, days on set correlates to how much screen time they’ll have.

Originally, Halle Berry had another scene in the film, but due to her limited schedule it was cut. The same goes for Anna Paquin.

Kinberg wrote shorter parts for Halle Berry and Anna Paquin since both actors did not have much time to be on set.

Interestingly enough, ScreenRant has an article up with each character, and a little blurb. Under Storm, it says she doesn't have an action sequence or flight sequence, but gets to use her powers once...

Isn't using her powers an action sequence (especially if it's the sequence we saw in the trailer)? I think they just contradicted themselves right there lol.

But we know for a fact she will fly and probably use her powers against a Sentinel. So I don't get what they are trying to get at.

Remember a few months ago that there were quotes from Halle Berry that mentioned her scenes were small due to her pregnancy and even one claiming she wouldn't be doing any action. Well it seems like that article is just a bunch of character speculation based on news that have been out there. Hugh Jackman did say she was on wires and harnesses and that magazine pic is confirmation of that, so she will indeed fly at least one.

The news that Storm will be the field leader of the team makes me happy but I wonder how much she'll feature in the film. I mean Storm can't be much of a leader of she's only there for about five minutes.

I like the picture. I wonder whether she and magneto are at odds in the film. I could see him being rather irritating and not following orders, and perhaps even challenging her leadership. Or maybe she just doesn't trust him.

SHe will probably be one of them we must do this as a team and then she dies and the others are like we must do it in her memory

At least that's what it sounds like.

Well by all accounts the "X-Men" at start is basiclly Xavier,Magneto,Wolverine, and her.Kitty,Iceman, and Colossus are apparently
with the other mutants In Moscow when film opens.

Storm probally won't bit the dust till act 3 when they cut back and forth between sentinle attack on Temple and whatever the climax battle of 1973
Is.

But will she stay dead? That's the question I have. At one point, I recall reading rumors here that Logan was gonna wake up and all would be fine again. Now I'm thoroughly concerned. Compare Halle's screen time with say Shawn Ashmore. He had 3 weeks--as much as Patrick Stewart, who we all know has a pivotal role.

I am starting to think that if we blink we might miss Storm altogether in this film. And yet, Halle's ranked so highly on the cast roster, so that's confusing too. If it was a true "cameo" I doubt she'd be listed right beneath Jennifer Lawrence. I dunno...Things that make ya go hmmm.

Why would they squeeze out stuff at the temple? From the looks of it, it seems Halle's scenes were 100% only at the temple. I haven't seen much of her face in any of the set shots but the very few that have been released show her there only...or walking into it.

Don't worry, ian filmed his x2 scenes in 2weeks. I'm sure halle worked hard to film all the scenes necessary. But one of scenes was cut it says in the set visit. I hope it wasn't her badass moment scene lol.

I'm thinking the same thing but a better comparison would be to Ellen Page who we know does have a 'pivotal' role in the film and yet is billed under both Halle and Nicholas Hoult. I know Halle is a big name (and I advocated for her getting this high billing when I thought she has slightly more prominent role than this.) But it is hard to understand.

If she's in it for a tiny role than she really should be getting the and Billing not getting top 5 billing. Especially when there's a plethora of other stars with much bigger roles.

It is a shame though, for just once I wanted Storm to have role pivotal to the plot and for her to get some decent character development. But I guess it could be worse, we could have had a Rogue situation. Take what we get. I hope Halle will at least get one chance to truly portray the Goddess of all weather and silence all the haters before she is recast.

It'll be interesting to see. I like the photo too...she looks commanding.

But...DAMN that is one ugly ass costume. I'm sorry...I've tried so hard to like them but...it's just bulky and shapeless. Looks very inexpensively made. Either that or perhaps Halle was further along in her pregnancy than just the "few weeks" as rumored.

Halle may have only been on set for 7 days but her stunt double may have been around for any physically demanding stuff.
