Well, it comes to my as no shock that Storm looks to be meeting her demise in the future as we know most of the mutants will... However, from her scenes in the trailer it looks like she does kick some major a$$ on a slew of Sentinels before getting owned. It looks like when the ship is dropping several Sentinels, that she calls down a snow storm to freeze them before they can hit the ground and attack and then she calls down lightning and wind to destroy them... Then it seems that after her attack, she is taking a breather and then probably saying something groundbreaking before a Sentinel jumps out to attack her while Bishop watches and is unable to help in time... She will probably have a dramatic death scene like Charles in Last Stand with Bishop by her side... Charles will probably sense her death and as the leader of the field he will then become even more aware of the seriousness of their situation. I actually like this for Storm...and she will probably be back at the end once the future is changed. But if she doesn't come back, I have peace knowing she dies in battle like a true X-men leader.

I also wanna say that Halle and Bryan looks to have committed to the character this go around because she looks regal and powerful in all of her clips.

It looks like we were correct in assuming she meets her demise relatively early.

I don't care if Storm dies (that sounds horrible), but hear me out, I think pretty much everyone is gonna bite it, so I just hope Storm flies next to the Jet, saves someone, gets at least a cool 80's action line (you know what happens to a sentinel when it's exposed to the cold?), shows any hint of emotion, and if she does die, kick as much sentinel *ss as mutantly possible.

I just noticed the electricity emanating off Storm's hands in this shot. Good attention to detail on their part.

I really think Storm will destroy most of those sentinels approaching temple. But like comic that scene where the Sentinel gets her is indication of her death.

I think so, too. She looks weary in that shot, as though she just spent all her energy taking out what she thought was that entire fleet of sentinels. But then, much like in the books, one gets her by surprise.

I think she might be flying. You can see someone standing on the ground just behind her.

She's on the ground in that shot.... But I do think she will fly at some point while taking out the Sentinels before descending back to the ground...chatting with Bishop...and then getting surprised by the Sentinel attack. But I mean it is DOFP so we ALL KNOW that most of the future cast will die... I think the only ones who will not die before the future is "changed" is Kitty, Professor X, and maybe ONE of the newbies... Magneto looks worn out in one of the shots as if he's injured, Colossus will die because he seems to be going toe to toe with the Sentinels, Warpath won't make it far with just knives lol, Blinks seems weary in the trailer also... My money would be on either Sunspot or Bishop or both surviving through the climax of the film... I feel that Storm definitely is going to be the first on screen death for dramatics and to create the tone of the seriousness of the threat.

I can tell that Storm DOES get an epic scene with a lot of special effects fluff... Kudos to Bryan for giving Storm fans what they NEED and WANT!

Part of me wishes this didnt happen, but then again if the future is so bleak and most mutants will die, it would make sense. I'll hurt if she does though! It takes a huge loss for the X-Men to make such drastic moves.

Really looking forward to seeing Halle, no matter what happens

I think she is still on ground, but getting ready to rise from all the winds around her.

If she dies in the movie, I really hope its gonna be emotional and memorable, like I want raw emotions from Hugh Jackman/Patrick Stewart when they find out Storm was killed by a Sentinel.

I think because they showed that shot of her at the brink of being impaled, she won't die.

It's supposed to make you think she will, but I'm going with she won't.
