Default Villians Who Deserve There Own Movie?

Villians from DC, Marvel or wherever who you think could benefit from a stand alone film?

This'll likely get moved to the misc comic movie section but I heard Venom is supposed to get one. Beyond that, no idea.

I've read that is spidey 2 is successful Venom is getting his own movie, They should do a symbiote series and give Venom a movie then Carnage then have them all face off in spidey 3 would be awesome.

Mr Sinister.

Tell the tale of him experimenting on people as Nathanial Essex as he loses his humanity in Victorian London

Obviously, Loki has such a huge fandom that claims he needs a solo movie that I suppose his one could be even a great financial success for Marvel Studios. He's the most popular of CBM villains for last years (at the same level as Ledger's Joker or a little bit beneath him), I'm sure about it.

I think they could do a series of web-isodes for Mister Sinister tying to movies but I don't think he's well known enough for them to pull off a full movie.

Considering it I'd have to say Magneto and maybe Sabertooth, maybe. Not sure if Deadpool counts as a villain but he could definitly work if they ditched any hopes of a rating under R.

Magneto doesn't need his own movie as much as he had needed before "First Class" came out. Its meaningful goal, besides telling about beginnings of X-Men, was to explore also his personality and origin.

Are they? I know there was an announcement about a year ago that they're planning to make X-Force and Deadpool movies but Magneto's one was clearly rejected. Even if you're right - what's the point? What more can they show us about him alone?

Dr Doom for the simple reason that it will be the only time they have to get the character right!

Deadpool is a villain!

Kaine aka Spiderman's clone because who wouldn't want a Punisher variant Peter Parker?

Ra's Al-Ghul origin story where we see him discover the Lazarus Pits and start the League would be awesome. Loved Neesons interpretation, but would love to see him more of Akrham style.

No one cares about villain standalone movies.

Btw, moving to movie board.

Only the ones where their perspective can switch the axis of protagonist/antagonist in their favor really deserve their own movie. Otherwise, it's just a villain-focused movie belonging to the hero they oppose.

Lex Luthor having reasonable arguments against Superman is pretty much the hallmark here.

Well not every CBM has to be marketted as a CBM. They could sell it as a normal movie, people would see it based on the subject matter rather than the source

And still Sony decides to take a risk by making a movie about Sinister Six... or at least they're planning it because I don't think they've already thought it through. Just a will to show off, I suppose.

Nuada Silverlance

Nolan's Bane and Talia. I'd like to see the kind of League of Shadows politics they dealt with and how their experiences as revolutionaries shaped them.
