I would definitely be surprised (and disappointed) if they didn't give her something more than panties to wear on her lower half, but beyond that, I have no clue what they'll do.

You know that pic reminds me that I have yet to see how people specifically envision what the bracelets should look like. So what's the consensus?

I'd like the bracelets to be somewhat plain, somewhat "ancient" and formidable looking, but still delicate and "fashionable" enough to look like something that any woman would wear. And I want Wonder Woman to wear them ALL the time, whether in armour or in evening wear.

Depending upon the remainder of the costume, I'd prefer them to be all silver and the only embellishment to be a design that is engraved into the bracelets.

These aren't too bad:

But, I'd prefer the engraved design on the bracelets to be similar to the following:

The New52 design isn't too bad, if they wanted to keep the bracelets really simple:

A lighter version of something like this. Something that looks like an armored bracer but not too unwieldy so she can still wear them with her civvies.

As Themysciran civilian garb, that is beautiful. The length of the hem must make it formal wear, however. I imagine the Amazon's working clothes to be more like a Roman tunic.

What I like about this last costume is the idea of cloth behind the armor. It's feels natural and can make the costume look both cool and functional.

But the armor should look more ancient, not futuristic.

I'm indifferent about the toga like dress. It feels not so aerodynamic like it would easily get snagged on things and since that is the main draw of the outfit I think I might not like it.

The battle skirt behind her with those same straps would look awesome though.

Hmm, that's interesting and I actually like it. Although, I think it might be a bit too futuristic for this movie.

It's odd, isn't it? My initial reaction was "nah, that won't work. Too different." But the more I look at it, the more I like it. It's an odd fusion of ancient and futuristic.

Althouht I think it could be sort of "improved" by another armor look as more ancient as sofnacimento said I think is a great combination IMO.

So don't write a scene where it get snagged on something...? lol

Said this in a different thread. The blue parts are great. they are a great compromise between the posters that constantly nag about wanting a prudish costume and the posters that nag about a more comics accurate costume.

Like i said, the blue parts are great, the torso is terribly designed though imo. There's too much going on and it just looks bad to me. If that part were simplified, and if the metal on her chest and waist were more prominent like they typically are in the comics, then it'd look better.

The art is very well done and professional looking, that torso is my only problem with it. Also get rid of the gratuitous arm and neck bands.

Yeah, with the beautiful details in the top, the ''puzzle piece'' lines are not needed.

No one has asked for a prudish costume. People have asked for her to not be nearly nude. Some people just want a short skirt instead of panties and perhaps some straps on the top. Hardly prudish.

Nolan's theory of realism disputes your scene writing suggestion.

So glad for the extra time before filming.

Gadot and Affleck get extra time to prep and get in the shape Zack wants them at. Good stuff!

Re: Design posted by John-An

I liked it. I like the mix of modern body armour with a traditional toga style undergarment. It effectively communicates that the Amazons are based in Greek mythology, but that they've also continued to develop their own technological advances since their isolation.

I would be tempted to make the "skirt" a uniform length all around the bottom and to repeat the pattern on the chest area along the hem of the skirt. And I'd also consider adding a strap to the right side of the chest armour (the same as the strap on the left side) as the chest armour otherwise doesn't appear to be supported on that side.
